geez is it that time already with Cl visiting EF this weekend?.....think we play them again in another few weeks too. Be interested to see how EF play against the side which has a potent ruck force, quality midfield, decent mix of small forwards in Richardson, Medhurst and Neates and tall forwards in Jones and Hamp.....gonna be tall task I reckon.

Christ if I was Webb I'd ruck with Andrews against Symonds and MacDougall and put Seaby up front....times like this EF need Brown up back....though good to see the big fella getting a decent run in the AFL. Simpson should be back, has BOB recovered from his early mid life crisis?.....Has been at Pinjarra playing of late....lost his mojo supposedly.....Sheppard will go, but Brennan no doubt will be back.....maybe Dalziel to, though good to see him getting a run of late for WCE.

Once again EF will be relying on their mids playing well, though ROB may be a wee bit knackered with having no break and playing well in a pulsating comeback last weekend v Victoria. Up front Ef will be hoping the likes of Dick, Snuffy2 jnr, Simpson, Boyle Henson etc can cause some mischief up front....not too sure what to make of Perham....gone backwards big time so far this year.....really really need a tall player or two up front....but hey I've been saying that all year....probably Sandi on one leg could cause some mischief in front of goals..

Reserves will be tested by Cl depth, though saying that Cl reserves are out of the four and not dominating as they usually do. The colts game should be a cracker, both sides undefeated......it will either be a thriller or an anti climax....usually these games are.....not to sure if the state boys are being wrapped up in cotton wool now in prep for the carnival....heard some extra's have been added to the squad....a few of them EF boys....thus if that is tru then EF could have a 1/3 of their side away for a wee while.....that will certainly test the depth of the EF reservoir......Rock howz number 12 progressing?....all set to jumper up this weekend?

After letting 24 goals in against WP things could get nasty if we allow that to happen again. Total different game plan will be needed. We have done it before where all out pressure is required to force them into mistakes.

9 colts in total in the state squad now including the extra 4 added in Aliir, Cuneo, Solomon and Jack Cripps. I don't think all will play each time so we'll have some of them play with us. All available this week against Claremont but not in our next game which is against SF. Our depth to cover is good so not too concerned but time will tell.

No.12 is still a couple weeks away and hoping to be fit against SF.

geez 9 in total now......as you say all 9 won't play at once.....not a bad advertisement for the EFFC.....though is it another case of EF youngsters getting a look in over others because they come from an EF zone?....you know those zones full of big houses, private schools, sumptuous living and all that?......or is it because those boys are playing for EF who are 7/0 and playing good footy.....though how many boys are in from Cl?.....surely not 9 too?

With this incredible talent you have produced yet again in the Colts that have been picked for the State 18s this year freeze why is it none of them have been able to break into your League team especially a key forward or 2? Charlie Cameron seems to have adjusted ok to the big boys!!

Obviously Charlie is a potential 200 AFL footballer BH  ......any kid who is colts eligible and can mix it with the big boys, surely is just warming their tootsies in the WAFL.....

sadly like Black, Swallow, McPharlin, Sandilands, Kerr ,Kennedy etc etc etc most of these EF colts boys will be working hard to become 1/2 decent footballers let alone AFL footballers..... I guess it's the price one pays for producing mediocrity ......

kudos to Charlie for playing league, no doubt he is being well looked after and given the right sort of tutelage from current ex AFL boys doing the business for SD this year in Notte, Blight, Miles and so on...... :silly:

Pity no Brad Dick, quite pleased Peake is not playing, hopefully with Dalziell, Simpson and Brown back EF will provide Cl with a close game. Good to see Curley and Chalwell named on the bench.....Bayliss and Schofield will be two for sure....two out of Chalwell, Curley, Jansen and Perham.....wouldn't mind seeing the former score debuts.....though does the game on Tues v Norwood count as a debut for Chalwell and Curley if selected.....can't see how they won't be with, Simpson, Dalziell and Brown not being available for the Foxtel.

What's the go with BOB?..... has he not recoverd from his midlife crisis and pulled the pin?......
