Now that Chris Masten has finished his career at West Coast if he doesn't get another AFL gig and he plays in the WAFL would he play for East Fremantle or another WAFL club. What do others think.

Either he will end up at the weagles reserves via a deal akin to that of McInnes or he will go wherever the best offer is. Who knows he may have loyalty to East Fremantle but I suspect that will not be where he ends up.

I think there is next to no chance he would return to East Freo next season and i doubt the club want him either.

Why would EF not want an ex-AFL premiership player to return home as a 1 point player?

Surely he has something to offer to strengthen your midfield and HF line?

Very vanilla is our Masto….not sure the 'culture fit" Billy would be looking for....but as you say TT, is an ex AFL premiership player with a shed load of footy under his belt, so surely one would hope he has something to offer the younger players at any club.

For me I hope EF are looking at enticing the likes of Fasolo back to the club, goalkicking forward who with Loersch and Strnadica up front could crumb a few goals

Sure he could have something to offer - i don't think it is going to though somehow. From East Freo's point of view why then worry. From a supporter point of view i don't think it should be a priority either.

The Sharks have had Griffin, Jansen and Snadden return recently (2018) - hopefully Snadden can shake his injury and we see more of him in 2020 but Griffin and Jansen have both been great returns. The Eagles are a bit pampered - so Masten would no doubt find the Sharks too small a stage and probably beneath him really. I think we should look elsewhere - but you never know.

Star recruit? - word around the campfire is that South are making a play to make him their star recruit for next season.
