Can only hope that this is part of the long road to something special, ala the early 80’s.

Watching the game its evident to my eyes that we have several players who are Gun Shy - scared to attack the ball but rather wait for the opponent to get the ball and THEN try to chase them?
WAFL standard players should be able to kick a ball to their own teammates and not hand it over continually? This rips the guts out of the players trying so hard to deliver it and then see it pissed away....

On the Stats the following says more than just a meaningful spray
Disposals per Goal
EFFC 41 Subi 20
Diposals per Scoring shot
EFFC 26 Subi 11

Some of the cattle on the field (new and/or Old) need a serious look at themselves and or others do ...

So - maybe during this year several more reserves need to be blooded and then several league players need a time to regain their spot
And of course
at the end of the year a very concerted effort to bring in new heads and new talent

We are better than we are currently displaying - the players just need to own their problems - fix them and maybe stop pointing fingers??

Sorry for wandering off topic.
East Fremantle on average are returning 37.5 Disposals/ Goal and 18.2 Disposals / Scoring shot (at Home games) thus far in the season.
Being well above the league average. The team was well down yesterday.
And East Fremantles efficiency has dropped off sharply as well which is currently 34 below the average.

WAG...not surprising really considering EF last 3 games have been against the 3 form teams of the comp at present...WCE, Cl and Subi....obviously WCE will always be at the mercy of their AFL side, tho their win over SF without Nic Nat, Barrass and no doubt a few others only confirmed to me EF got terribly unlucky playing them at that time.....but that's the nature of the beast....think EF remaining games this year will define Monaghans impact this year and where EF sit with the other WAFL clubs.....already EF have improved their games won from last year and hopefully can add a few more wins before the season finishes.... 6-7 win season, whilst not fantastic is definitely a stark improvement on Wileys last 2 years as coach....time will tell I guess....

Yep all understood Freezin.
And I think East Fremantle have lost a couple of games by close margins. For example against Caremont where they were the better team for most of the match but fell over at the last hurdle
With 7 weeks remaining of the qualifying rounds, East Fremantle I think still have 4 Home games and only 2 Away.

when we fix our skills by hand & foot we will win more games & I reckon bill gets very frustrated by it as does the supporters
crikey I reckon most of the squad would battle to kick or handball opposites sides of their bodies
kicking for goals is poor & it was clearly shown last week which costs us the game
