Who were the board members not re-elected and what was the result of the ballot?

Bill Monaghan gave a brief outline of what had taken place with regards to recruiting and in reducing the group of about 90 players to 70. Everything he spoke about is already in the public domain. It was a bit awkward when he was asked about the George Hampson situation.

Several positives from the AGM included that we have secured a new ground naming rights sponsor and that Shark Park will now be called New Choice Homes oval. Also the discussions with the Town of East Fremantle regarding the master plan for the East Fremantle Football precinct were progressing positively but that it would take some time before it may become a reality.

The newly elected Board members were were Michael Brennan and Damian Condon with David Edinger and Kim Chatfield re-elected. Mark Stewart was relected unopposed as President. Steve Miguel and Wayne Jones were unsuccessful.

Why was it awkward, Custodian?

Great news about the Condon. The board needed some fresh ideas.

I think that it is always difficult to publically justify the reasons for your fairest and best player departing.

He had priors Custy...Subi F&B in 2013...premiership player in 2014...gone in 2015.

Curious then, what the explanation on Hampson was. Not asking what wasn't said, just what was?
