For next year the likes of Paparone, H Marsh could be delisted.....not sure EF have the funds to entice them but Harry might want to play with his brother, whilst Paparones family bleed EF.....not too sure who else may get delisted EF wise......LA will retire, Hampson might seek another club for some success.....hopefully Boekhorst will return.....
Will be interesting to see if Wiley gives games to the likes of O'Reilly post U18 champs...play him at CHF to take the heat off Loersch.....Christ I would even give Luke Jackson a go, seems an extraordinary talent who for a big fella is super mobile and could play off a wing or HFF and do the odd ruck when Griffen is resting...the club has fudge all to lose TBH....but be a big ask playing a 17yr old who hasn't played a single colts game....LOL...
You are right, they went into their shells mid way through the 3rd term after hitting the lead for 5 or so minutes. Joondalup were able to dominate thereafter. But it was a much improved effort in my eyes. Across the board the whole team at least showed a willingness for the contest for much of the game. Hopefully it is a glimpse of the future and not just a case of trying to send JMac off on a winning note. This is the sort of commitment the club and supporters need week in week out.
The usual suspects Marsh, Eardley, Georgie, Kommer were solid. Likewise Anthony and to lesser extents Snadden and Jansen. Loersch provided a target up front but lacked support at times. As a result he became a bit isolated and therefore less effective. Perham (who did play quite well) needed to help out in this respect by more often becoming an extra option to hit when we move the ball forward. Loersch also needed better help from our crumbers at ground level too - which was lacking at times yesterday. Someone like Jesse Wynne might of been handy or Ryan, Green, Fletcher these types.
Tim Bockman had his best league game so far. Kim Schofield impressed in his 2nd league appearance and got a bit of the leather. Jy Stone making his league debut has a real physicality about him and had a few touches. Down back As mentioned Marsh, Winton, Schofield and Harrold were solid. Juppy was good too but was singled out at the 3 qrt time break by the coach for not punching after spilling a mark that resulted in a goal for the munchers.
