Cl are favourites to finish top 4 at least.....and in many pundits eyes EF are favourites to win the spoon.....as they were this time last year.....luckily enough they were able to finish 6th...missing out on the last qualifying game of the year..

2 close losses in the preseason fixtures for EF......goals are still are a worry it seems.....be interested if Wiley persists with the likes of Perham up front or gives new boys in Mirco and Moreno a run......good to read that Stokes did well in the ruck v Giles et al.....17 WCE boys played for EP so I guess a 6 pt loss aint that bad....need Hampson playing that is for sure....good to see Watson kick a couple.....early days but getting points early are crucial esp when injuies and fatigue set in....

Hard to make anything at all out of preseason as a form guide to the season proper. WP have been belted in 2 games and beat you boys by 10 goals in the other. Im not overly confident of the Falcons flight for 2017 but that is just purely because we have not recruited a great deal, no form in lead up games and too many of our very best payers have not taken the field

Tough first 2 rounds- if we can pick one Vs the Tigers or Peel, i think we'll be ready to launch after the bye. Bit concerned with 2nd half fade outs and Hampson not playing. I too hope we blood some new up forward

Have to give Mirco or Moreno a run ahead of Perham, a lot of our experienced players need to step up.

EF came out and kicked the first four goals of the game but Claremont dominated the second to lead 7.3 (45) to 5.2 (32) at halftime.
