I'm looking forward to this weeks Anzac Day battle at Moss St. With South flying high and undefeated it is an opportunity for East Fremanle to bring them back to earth at Atom Stadium. Hopefully with both sides currently in the top four and looking ahead to September this match should be a classic. Go Sharks!

This should be a ripper and I would give the Sharks every chance of toppling the undefeated Doggies. The weather is looking good and if it wasn't for the Swannies playing the same day I would be heading there for sure.

I remember a Foundation day derby at Shark Park ( 2009 I think) when East beat Souths by a point in front of over 11000 people. There was a queue a mile long outside the gates and it was the best atmosphere I have seen at a WAFL game since the 1980's. Were you there that day? I guess they would be ecstatic if half that number turned out on Saturday. Would have been great if they could have made it a stand alone game on ANZAC day.

I remember that one Mike, though I didn't realize it was that long ago. I thought my heart would go into overload. Had such a great time with the EF and SF supporters that I drank more beer than I should have. I had to book myself and the Mrs into Rosie O'Gradys for the night - she didn't want to drive home and I would have blown numbers if I did!! Great day in Fremantle.

Not sure if Rosie O'Gradys would have been the best place if you wanted to dry up a bit 58 shark :P

As a neutral supporter that was a fantastic game to watch although not so for the Sharks and Dogs fans as I remember the game was pretty much a rollercoaster all afternoon with the lead changing hands many times. Sharks had their noses in front at the siren. Pretty fair effort that given that Souths won the flag that year and East Freo didn't even make the finals but that's Derbies for you.....

Yes I was there but didn't see much of the game as I was asked to help out behind the bar with so many people wanting a drink. We ran out of beer around half time and had to call on several local establishments to keep us supplied. It was bedlam! We had to throw open the gates just after the start of the game because of lengthy queues outside and people were beginning to jump the fence.

Rock that is an outstanding video. A real look into the inner sanctum of a club on game day and all the emotions that go with it. I really enjoyed watching and listening to the coaches box in the last 2 minutes!. Also some great names of WA footy were interviewed. Great to listen to Ken Judge again, taken far too soon. A fantastic piece of WA football history to be treasured forever. Thanks so much for sharing that with us

To all posters, please take the 19 minutes to have a look at this. It is well worth the time.

Our forwards and midfielders will need to be on top of their game to crack a South defence that has only conceded an average of 47 points per game.

Not sure how they got my mobile number but just received a text message from East Fremantle about the derby. They are really pumping up the promotion for this game.
