10.17, what's wrong with that? We do it every week :(

As someone who was at the game as well, it was patently obvious that the big killer for EF was that Claremont were far too tall for us.

I said to my mate as EF ran on to the oval before the game that gee they look small! How many contested (and uncontested for that matter) marks did Claremont take deep in their forward line, simply because they were too big? I counted plenty, and this contributed to the accurate kicking as most shots were within 30 metres of goal.

EF will not get near SF this week I don't believe. Just not enough talls.

darcy Cameron certainly stood out as the tall marking fwd but many uncontested marks were due to our turnovers in and around their 50m arc where a quick disposal to an unmarked fwd was the result and consequently a goal

...can anyone give us a breakdown on how Watson is faring?....4 goals so far....is he getting poor delivery, double teamed or just not as good a forward we all would of hoped...apparently he was used at Carlton more in defence....early days tho.....good to see Brandon Ellis kick a few in the reserves win......

watto is not hitting the scoreboard as much as we all would like but he is contesting and bringing the likes of Hampson & peakey into play

ellis kicked 4.2 and should of been 6.0 - could well get a call up for the Anzac day derby

Assuming there was even just one afl scout at the game I think the nephew of (eoin) Cammo would have just about sealed his drafting fate with that performance. It wasn't a dominant best on ground performance or anything but the raw potential of this 204cm still only twenty year old fella was obvious to all. One to keep an eye on.
