hate the bye, footy restarts after an extended break, then you have an enforced break....v WP this week, always good games between these two great clubs.

The Peel loss sounded like a heartbreaker with those two Alex Pearce late goals....though 1.8 in the first really was the problem come end of the day....gotta move on and ensure this is only a blip under Wiley....definitely was a problem under Malaxos for some unknown reason Been reports that Howlett is back training, hopefully he isn't too far away, his experience and quality will be needed up back against quality teams like WP, Subi and SF. Wiley seems a fan of Winton, be interested to see how long it takes before he gets a league game. EF mids in Eardley, Crichton, Anthony x 2 and Henson have been more than serviceable and hopefully that can continue.

The forwards have had plenty of scoring shots in both games so far, would love to see Watson kick a bag to ease the level of fan expectation off his shoulders and get his season kick started. Great to see Peake in amongst the goals, would love to have BOB prowling around the forward line, maybe if Howlett comes back that may happen....Hampson is due a few goals too.....early days I know.....not the March premiers Swandog thinks we are....a win over SD at present is a given and in the current scheme of things a no big deal TBH.....a scalp like WP will give us a better indicator of how we are travelling as a team....

Yes Freeze, always great games at Condemned Park, this will be no exception. Keunen is out for 6-8 weeks, Nelson 5 weeks, I hope Rassmussen and Manning are ready to return, we have reasonable depth which will keep us competitive but will it be enough to win games ???

Good wins by the boys in all three grades. League started brilliantly by kicking the first six goals of the match keeping West Perth goalless for the opening quarter. Bill Monaghan addressed his players away from the spectators during the quarter time break. West Perth certainly lifted for the second and third quarters to look a chance in the last kicking with the breeze. However East Fremantle powered away in the last for a comfortable win. Looking forward to see how the "United" East Fremantle sides progress for the remainder of the season.

Apparently East Fremantle set up the win with a blistering first quarter with fairly slick ball use. Then put the foot on the pedal in the last quarter for a easy win.
East Fremantle:
Had 13.0 Ball Disposals per Scoring shot.
Then 28.9 Ball Disposals per Goal.
Were running at 25.0% with their Offence rate.
Accomplished 1.8 Ball Disposals I50 per Scoring shot.
And did 4.1 Ball Disposals I50 per Goal.

West Perth:
Ball Disposals per Scoring shot 21.1
Ball Disposals per Goal 48.1
Offence rate 15.1%
Ball Disposals I50 per Scoring shot 2.8
Ball Disposals I50 per Goal 6.3
