I see the colts lost by 5 goals and the reserves won by 5 goals......
Colts game was a good one for us but your boys were ok, not sure who was out for you but I presume a few to come back as with us, 5 from the first game side out.
Ressies were just much more enthusiastic and they showed through all grades, were always vocal and supportive, not that we weren't just that you guys were louder. Ball movement was good, plan was simple and executed well.
League was the usual come home with the wind and run over the top game plan that you have had at Moss street for as long as I have been going to EP/EF games and it served you well. The game was scrappy, lots of errors from both sides but in the second half you made less, augers well for the season I think.
The 16's was a one point affair with EF coming out on top after a great fight back by our boys. Standard was good, umpiring was ok and the outcome was, well ok given you were in front most of the game. We had our chances but a couple of things did not go our way when perhaps a 50/50 decision was the correct one but not much point bleating about development football when we are not playing for sheep stations YET!
