Yep one of the aunts went off and married a EAST bloke, caused a bit of stir as the netire family was RED n WHITE through and through including her brother that played for SFFC, but in the end he was a TOP bloke that everyone liked and of course an OUTSTANDING player, not a bad Fisherman either!

East Perth actually went undefeated in 1944 too, albeit in the under-age comp during the war.
