with EF spectacular and disappointing fall from grace this year....very difficult to have an interest in this years Lynn Medal.....can see the winner coming from the following 5 players ROB, BOB, MacNamara, Young and Anthony......would like to see MacNamara win it, though reckon BOB might pinch it from Jamie Mac.....

The reserves had a season they would like to forget, with so many players making a debut this year and playing 3 - 10 games, it will be someone who probably hasn't spent all year with the reserves....Dion Anthony or Barry Barone perhaps...

The colts will see captain Fraser Perry or Jesse Adamini fight it out for top colt...though 1st year colt Kyle Baskerville has reportedly played some consistent footy this year for EF...

Heard tonight there was a four way tie for the 2015 Lynn Medal. Has there been a leak or is someone pulling our collective legs? Brisbane Lions had a four way tie last week in their F & B!

Good call Grey Fin, should be a red face or two in the Football Management office. Ironic to get 4 votes against East Freo to snatch the medal in the last round.

Pretty sure that red face you speak of observer wont be at the Lynn Medal anyway..,,..apparently he left mid season... though in all honesty Trops was competing for a place in the midfield at the time against the likes of the reigning Sandover Medallist in ROB,ex AFL listed guys in McGough, Dalziell, Eardley & MacNamara plus other colts 2010 flag winning mids in Henson and Hancock, so unfortunately someone had to miss out......similar situation for Cory Yeo too......with McGough and Dalziell retiring mid season,Hancock following better money and the red face you speak of getting sidelined, hindsight suggests Trops would of been first team if he had been more patient....but hey opportunity is a great thing and good luck to the guy......

hey freez...I reckon the straight swap of Hancock for George Hampson was a pretty good deal. Any more on the radar?

With former Old Easts boys Brad Dodd joining Josh Carr on the coaching staff at North Adelaide any chance a few current EF boys might join them at Prospect?

Thing is mate, Subi would still be playing off on Sun with or without Hancock TBH, whilst Hampson had a shocking run with injury and coincidentally EF season went to pot with George on the sidelines....that's footy....who knows Hancock might gift WP that winning goal in the GF and cost you boys the game.....still plenty of time mate :silly:

I reckon you guys poaching Mengaola was the killer in my eyes though BC..Hancock is so so but Mengaloa is top draw.....can see you guys sniffing around Perth for Tropiano over the summer TBH...no real stand out mids good enough in Subi's reserves or colts from the reports of things ready to step up....Greg Clark will get drafted, so Tropiano could be Subi's next recruit I reckon....money talks I guess

Can't think of anyone good enough at EFFC to follow Dodd BH....I think a lot of guys will be excited with Wiley on board and will hang around, whilst Wiley's presence might attract a few newbies as well......time will tell eh?

yes...Menegola was a big in for us considering we lost Bristow, George and co out of our mids from last year. I can't see the club chasing Troppo as probably only Brett Robinson would be doubtful to play on in 2016 although Menegola may get drafted but you'd think the AFL clubs would give him a miss after being on 2 clubs lists already and not making the grade.

You blokes have some gooduns in the colts so expect them to start filtering through...young Parish, big Luke Strnadica, Zurhaar, Hebiton plus a few more might get some game time with the big boys.

For us, we'll probably have to find replacements for Rumble, Twomey and as I said, maybe Robbo as well but there are a couple of KPP replacements in the ressies who might fit the bill. Declan Jackson acquitted himself quite well and we'll also get Brad Stevenson back from his knee reco so all is not lost if we do lose a couple.

Not sure he deserved 4 votes against us in last game, but it's done now, so good on him. Right move at the time for him. Expect 1 back line shark to maybe follow Dodd to SA. If you ever get the chance, ask menengola why he didn't come to effc, might surprise you. Hancock for Hanson was a good swap. Very suprised that L Anthony polled so well in sandover. Didn't think his year was that great. Bit of unrest over Brennan's appointment as assistant I believe , so some work to do by the club to retain some players
