Be interested to see who plays after the bye....Dodd gave a debut to Perry from the colts, could we see a few more colts boys debut before the season is out? Bennett, Snadden, Hebiton, Adamini, Trusso, Strnadica, Zurhaar, Parish or Harrold perhaps?.......obviously not all at once but over the course of the year perhaps..

..debutants so far in Fletcher, Barone, Perry, Franklin, Regan, Stokes et al as well as all the above are the clubs future along side experienced gus like ROB, BOB, Macca, Anthony, Stephen, Hampson and 30 - 60 game boys in Eardley, Schofield, Jupp, Read, Henson, Bristow, Williamson, Perham, Lester-Smith and Dorotich plus others in Locantro, Ellis, Howson, Cripps, Anthony, Bannister, Strnadica, Green x 2 etc can play a part in moving this club forward over the latter half of the year and into 2016....with Dodd or a new coach altogether.

Some will leave no doubt and new recruits found hopefully........for me a few of those state boys should debut and a more youngsters in the reserves too before the year is out.....cant honestly see EF making the finals even though the ladder is still tight and clubs like SF and SD have some pretty tough games to follow...

....Subi are safe, WP are 3 wins away from being safe, Cl big men strength will see them win more than they lose if they stay fit from now on, EP and Peel on paper should be strong enough to secure finals berths.....but they are reliant on AFL injuries etc......SD and SF are both good enough to secure finals footy, but have tough runs home....EF are in the 15th round punch drunk and staggering, whilst Perth would need a ton of sudafed to secure a finals spot from here......

Another big factor Freeze is that Swans after this round will have played 2 games more than WP & CL.

the game against WP will likely cost Swans a finals position, had Swans won that game after being 26 points in front at the 25 min mark they would be 2nd and WP 3rd.
after Subi the next 7 could finish in any order.
Swans play WP and CL twice each and they win those 4 and it would throw a spanner in the works of the finals set-up.
unlikely though.

A lot of young and inexperienced names thrown up there Freezin so who or what type of coach do we need moving forward into 2016? The coming weeks could decide if Dodd is the right fit, more losses like last week will just continue to add pressure on the board after giving Stav the push. I am sure there would be plenty of interest from both experienced and proven coaches to those like Dodd who are looking for their first senior role. No doubt once the position is advertised the usual names will be thrown up, Harris who would be top of my list, Micale, Watters. Will Woey put his hand up again or maybe Dawson be interested if Selwood takes over the helm at East
Perth. No doubt there is enough talent to stay positive going into 2016.

For me Woey would be terrific. Had plenty of respect when he was last at the club. I think we would love (as most clubs would) a KP forward but they don't grow on trees unfortunately. A local lad would be great however they're drafted and that's the end of that. We can only hope when a Ryder, Kennedy or even Clark finish their AFL careers they could give us a year or 2 before fully retiring. Any eastern states players these days costs huge money to relocate so concentrating on our youth is our priority.

Lose to Peel next game and our season is definitely over I'm afraid.
