5 on the trot.....fark another loss here and definitely chasing our tail for the rest of the year......the bye could be a god send.....be interested to see if McGough comes back from his rest......Bristow and Stephen from injury.....not too sure Lester-Smith will, though Perham continues to struggle kicking goals as a forward. Perry back too......big ask v Cl tall boys......Jupp to Bradley, Chartres to Maister, Read to Bradshaw or Richo, hopefully Stephen back.......Ellis in perhaps, Bristow to help Fletcher v Seaby and Andrews with Young up front.....need goals TBH........mids getting plenty of the footy......need a win badly to stay in touch.

Reserves need some boys back like Lyndsay, Edwards, Stokes, Howson, Cripps, Regan etc just to compete......no injury list, so haven't got a clue how far any of these boys are away.....

should be a goodun in the colts v 1 and 2......no doubt both teams will have a few away on state duties, be a case of which team has the depth to prevail......

Must win game or we pushing the proverbial up hill.

Bristow still out unfortunately...though I do like what Fletcher has been doing.
Lester-Smith coming back through the ressies, with Ellis back along with Stevo.
Great to see another young gun in Barone make his debut.

Edwards & Reagan I'll think you'll find are gone for the season, however Stokes is back this week. Howson shouldn't be far away and Cripps had his first run back in Gero recently so all going well these 2 KP talls will be right shortly. Lindsay's knee pulled up sore from the derby so needed some more time to get it right.

Sad too see Goughy retire before seasons end, but we cant complain with the service this hard nut has given us.

Unfortunately Mcgough is now another loyal servant of the club that will not be a participant player in a premiership winning side. That is the way the cookie crumbles sometimes.

Hopefully the Sharks can snap out of their current funk & win this game to send Mark out on a winning note. More importantly, a win will well & truly keep our chances alive for the remainder of the season, given the evenness of the sides between 2nd & 8th & the expansion of the finals to the top 5. A loss will pretty much be game over.

Sounded pretty awful in the end, I reckon the club really needs to use that performance as a watershed one and decide the future path of the club. Can take defeats like that on the chin if there are a whole bunch of youngsters running around out there busting a gut,but that side had a fair whack of experience in it.......and really no excuse for kicking only 3 goals.......where to from now?

In over 55 years of following the club, I can never remember sitting through 2 hours of agony like this. 3.7? What a disgraceful way of sending a club stalwart out. Goughy was devastated at the end of the game. I would like to think we have bottomed out, but lets see which team runs out next game.
Great to see the ressies have a win, but the colts....2.10..wtf????
It all could drive a man to drink :(

Kicked our first goal deep into the 3rd quarter which was 1 of only 4 forward 50m entries for the whole quarter. Smashed by Claremont in the mid field all day, poor skill level combined with slow indirect ball movement and compulsive hand balling at times drove plenty of supporters mad. Players accumulating some decent numbers on the stat sheets but a lot of them not in any way damaging compared to the Tigers. Time to persevere with a number of the young inexperienced players a get games into them for 2016 and beyond.

When your two key forwards only have 11 possessions between them (5 kicks) either the delivery into the forward line was exceptionally poor or their opponents absolutely "pantsed" them or they did not apply any forward pressure or a combination of all of these factors. It would be interesting to see how many tackles and pressure acts they made. This has clearly been a major problem for many years. When was the last time we had a dominant key forward? Having followed the EFFC for over 50 years this would have to be one of the most inept displays, especially forward of centre, I have ever seen. Once we were warriors but now we are a rabble! I think Brad Dodd and his coaching panel need to keep turning players over until we find a united group who give everything for the jumper! Gutted Shark

What i saw was a team with good foot skills prepared to kick long to teammates who spread quickly. A team who refused to let the ball out of stoppages without a fight. A team that cotested hard even when the game is in the last throws. Then there was us , we kick and handball around in circles untill we cough it up.Very little spread , got smashed at the centre bounce with our best players in the middle. The kicks into the forward line were woefull. When we did get a set shot at goal we cant finish anyway there was at least 4 easily getable right in front. I cant tell what type of football we are trying to play and im not sure if the players are either. There is enough skill and experience in that side to turn it around quickly , unlike Perth,s plight at the moment. Enjoy the bye but for #$/^ sake come out with some resolve and a clear direction in two weeks time.

Don't forget to smack some of your favourite sons over the head with a brick bat too and not just the two key forwards. Bob, Rob, Stephens, Young and J Mac all went through the front half as well. The ball movement has been crap all season especially forward entries. You obviously took no notice of the centre clearance numbers, reckon we had fark all compared to them. Any chance of using the corridor to attack now and again and give the forwards a chance one on one. Instead we put the ball out of bounds 5 times on the outer wing, allow the whole opposition to flood back and then eventually bomb it in and say get under that !!!!!
