According to the West Online Malaxos has resigned and EFFC are to appoint an interim coach.

If that's true, will be a big blow half way through the season! Obviously a hell of a lot of issues going on behind the scenes. Comes 1 week after Bradley Dalziell decides to stop playing!

Interesting that Dodd and Lester-smith are the caretaker coach candidates mentioned.

Would of thought the Lester-smith option would of been a conflict of interest.

thats a bloody surprise..i thought EF were pretty good for 3 qtrs on the weekend given they had a 5 day turnaround. must be stuff going on inside the club the public is not aware of.

Thats a real surprise, given that they are only percentage outside the top 5. Maybe the power brokers at the club think that they should be doing better.

on paper the side should be doing better mikeh..especially with it's experience, but do think fella's like Lester-Smith, Perham etc haven't kicked on from supposedly break out seasons a few years back.....

I see Brad Dodd has got the interim job.....be interesting to see what he brings to the table and where he sits with the senior players.....does that mean Dalziell might return to to the fold.......not too sure how many changes he will make for the SD game.....everyone is on a clean slate.......but saying that sounds like a few players were going through the motions under Malaxos........
