Stephen out, Jamie Mac not back and Jupp & Scleicher back in.....with the weather being wet could be a hard slog....great to see young talls in Solomon and Howson named in the reserves.....Solomon and Fletcher are EF future ruck brigade, whilst Howson at 197cm along with Perham, Ellis and Hampson could be EF forward line over the next few years.....

I dont usually say this but I can see WP walking in next Saturday
Weather could be the main factor if EF are to win... Heavy rain forecast.
So not footy but just a slog.
Looking forward to the game.. Lets hope the BOM are wrong as they usually are.
Showers late they say so every goal will be worth 2 in the first couple of qtrs and WP dont have a good record there..
Our midfielders will win the game...

ef won 2qt's cardy....just like your team on the weekend

when you talk up wp you are usually wrong so hope nothing changes here :cheer:

WP have got out of jail x 2 of late and lost to Cl the game before that not too sure what to make of their form TBH.....hopefully EF can keep up their momentum....the Cl game was a lucky last minute win but the SD SF and Perth wins were all deserved.....

Not quite good enough today. No surprises with our kicking - 2.6 in the 1st qtr followed up with 3.5 in the 3rd. We really need to do something about this part of our game as it costs us more games than I care to remember. WP's 3 goals in 6 mins to the start of the 3rd qtr to make it a 6 goal WP lead seemed to be the game breaker and we never recovered.

Look forward to the return of Dalziell, McNamara Stephen & Bristow for the derby in a fortnight, along with a host of development players which will certainly improve the playing depth.

Well done to the colts who have around 11 players unavailable through state & PSA.

Good win by the Falcons......0.5 in the first 10 - 15 mins with 20 odd inside 50's to WP 1 or 2!.....can't believe how inaccurate EF are these days..that 10.2 last week was definitely out of character for EF!!

...WP did a good job to absorb all that inside 50 pressure, steady and gradually kick away from EF over the course of the game.....know hindsight is a blessing, but didn't Bristow kick 4 last week?.....perhaps he may of beeen a better option up front than one out of Ellis or Perham......sounds like Young and Keunen had a great battle, both super players for their sides.

great win again by EF colts.....great to see so many 16/17 yr olds stepping up with 7 state boys and 3 - 4 PSA boys away......obviously the reserves are struggling but good to see Solomon and Howson back to boost the tall brigade, hopefully after the state game the reserves will have a full quota of boys to pick from for the derby....Edwards, Piggot, Cripps, Regan, Barone and Lyndsay will boost the depth, whilst MacNamara, Dalziell,Bristow and Stephen should see 4 out of todays league side drop back......

disappointing to lose but WP from looks of things did all the right things.....deserved their win and EF really need to address their goalkicking yips....totally agree with you Rock....these scores of 2.6, 3.5 etc are very frustating and just not good enough.....sick and tired of seeing the behinds tally always higher than the goals tally......

Doro drops an uncontested chest mark 20m out that results in a goal late in the 3rd. Lestersmith has a shot at goal in the second and kicks it out of bounds instead of chipping out front of Boyle who runs into a open goal. We could go on all day about individuals and errors made. Ellis was tripped in the goal square by the way with the
West Perth player laying flat on his stomach grabbing a foot. West Perth made less errors and yes kicked very well in the conditions and deserved the win.
