Pretty important game for both clubs....Cl cant afford to go 0-3 and EF would be 1-3 if they lose. EF play all the G7 clubs (bar Subi) for the next month so lets see where EF are in the WAFL mix. Bristow back.....quite surprised TBH,been out for 3 weeks with injury, thought a gallop in the 2nds might be in order, but he did play well last year so I guess he deserves a crack....though with rain most likely not too sure how much of an influence he would be.

I see youngsters in Barone and Franklin are on the bench...both have deserved a debut, be interested to see if one or both get a game....with wet conditions predicted both guys are small and suited to some wet weather conditions. BOB injury may not be so bad from all reports, so hopefully he will be back sooner than thought....lots to play for and be interested to see if EF can break their poor kicking for goal form.

Do we know when Hampson will be back? How long will Brock O'Brien be out?

perhaps the prospective wet weather report played a part in both of their non appearances this weekend custy/.....heard from a mate that BOB was up and about at training this week, obviously not at full speed, but at least moving!! :cheer: .....as for Hampson I guess a wet track isn't conducve to a return from a hamstring strain......hopefully the club plays some boys who like a bit of wet weather footy......surprised that Bristow is playing league first up after a 3 week layoff....hopefully he is ready for a hard slog.

That was a not deserved victory. Results this round hopefully mean an ultra competitive season. Shame the Demons couldn't beat those monkey spankers.
