west coast have 46 players on their list and only 5 are playing tonight. talkcabout a good time to play east Perth, another reason why the alignment compromises the competition so much

Yep a resounding victory to EF and EP looked like a disorganised rabble/
Bit like channel 7 what a joke of a broadcast. I enjoyed ABC a lot more.
Well done to the EFFC Club against a pack of individuals but then again Subi proved that in last years GF.

The Germ Dawson who is on a good pay packet must be OTW out..
I see WCE are at 31.50 to win the GF and can see why looking at the cattle and the individuals they bought out tonight.. But then again they are not interested in the WAFL just giving their players a run.

A good team will always beat a team of Champions but I use the term champions tongue in cheek
This message represents the official view of the voices in my head

Spot on Cardie! East Freo played as a team against a team of individuals. If those eight WC Eagles who pulled on the East Perth jumper tonight are an indication of the Eagles depth then they are in for a long season.

Good start to the season. You can only beat whats put in front of you. Ef looked harder at it all night.
Congrats to the debutants. Stokes i thought used his leap well against johnson and did some good things around the ground. Regan was zipping around with his fantastic pace and also contributed with a goal
Schleicher great goal and as usual won a fair bit of hard ball in and under. They can all be proud of their first game.

Great start for the Sharks!!! As P1 said you can only beat what's put in front of you...but what a rabble EP were tonight.

Well done to the 4 debutants who all performed well. Only sour note was the loss to the ressies and shoulder injury to Edwards.

The attack on the ball and the run was fantastic. Well done to the debs, all put in credible efforts.

He sits in the box like a dummy and doesn't make any moves when his team is getting flogged. He didn't win Swans the flag in 2010 - Krakouer did.

Channel 7 sponsorship money going down the drain.

Stokes did well late in the game. Promising. Not sure about the back line against a good team. Really lack height.
