I think the number of Eagles players who appear in WAFL finals should be capped or alternatively increase the qualifying number of games to 10 or half the season.

Mikeh, that would be completely against the purpose of the alignment from an Eagles or Dockers point of view. However, once the AFL finals start the Dockers "reserve" players should not be allowed to play in the WAFL, as both "Peel" & "Peel's" reserves are out of WAFL finals contention.

People in the media keep commenting on how well the Dockers have done under the alignment. Let us see how well if their reserves players are forced to play in the ammos when not required during the AFL finals.

What a disappointing day. When you lose a game to a side that is clearly the better one on the day, then you cop it on the chin. But when you see your team throw the towel in when they have every chance to take the points, then that's fkd!!!

that's disappointing to read 58.....realistically EF sit where they deserve to be....if they can't beat a "weakened" EP/WCE side, than they have no chance when they are full strength.....looks like it will be either SD or Subi responsibility to take up the G7 fight v EP......great chance to cement a 4 break from WP......Peel won't be a pushover next week......

Peel next week should be road kill freeze, but after watching a team turn to powder puffs after 3/4 time today, anything can happen.

I was unable to listen to the last quarter yesterday.
For the first three quarters East Fremantle looked the goods. Not sure if they lost through players getting injured or reported but haven't heard of any? They have some good signs but switching off at ¾ time after being in a possible winning position is not good for the standings. Not sure what the problem is but still some work for East Fremantle to do.

Great to see Young getting five goals on Sat, pity Lester-Smith and Peake were goaless......not too sure what Lester-Smiths role is on game day, but in terms of getting on the scoreboard, he has been pretty disappointing, especially after a breakout year in 2013.

What role does Williamson play in EF forward line?... would love to see Richie Bourne up there, but after a bright start, he did seem to go off the boil a bit. Not to sure what changes will be made for next week v Peel....I reckon if EF can win 2 out of the next three and EP do the right thing v WP after the Foxtel GF, EF surely will be home and hosed for a finals spot.....saying that though, for EF to go any further in the finals, they really need the second chance of finishing top two.....and TBH I really can't see SD or Subi slipping up too much to allow EF that luxury.

Great come back from the reserves boys, especially after a 4th/5th loss on the trot was looming......EF has some good young rucks in the future in regards to Solomon, Symonds and Fletcher.....touch wood these boys can develop and become good EF league players over time. The colts continue to struggle, but I guess over the next year or two some of those 16/17 yr olds can replicate the success SD are having this year with their youngsters...though just because you get some colts action at 15/16/17 years of age doesn't mean one will kick on for further success.

Noticed a 198cm youngster in the WA u/16's in Luke Strnadica from EF, hopefully the youngster can keep growing and line up for EF colts if not this year, definitely over the next two years...Rock,Strono,Tragic any chance of Luke scoring a colts game before the season is out?

Freeze, yesterdays colts for EF they had 16 (I think) players that qualify for next year, we had abt 9. The future for ur colts is looking good as usual.
