Good to see ex EF boy Josh Kennedy has an eye on EF finals push......getting himself suspended means one less WCE player suiting up for EP this Sat.....also no Rosa as well.......any little bit helps. Not too sure on the status of MacNamara's knee or both reports from the Perth game........Bristow has certainly wound up the Perth boys with his treatment on Tropiano.......if he goes surely Symondswill be called up to help Young against EP tall brigade.....

McGough back will cover MacNamaras loss if his knee doesnt come up, be nice to have both on the park though. Reckon Jimmy Bayliss maybe fast tracked back too........the reserves have been a tad disappointing of late, tney definitely need to get their season back on track. Will need a few of the forwards to kick straighter this weekend, cant see EP being as forgiving as Perth were........be great to engineer a win here, still a chance to move up the table and put another top 4 side in a chasing WP sights........

So Bristow escapes with a reprimand.....need all the height we can get against EP.....Jamie Mac out for 3 - 4 weeks with some medial ligament damage to his knee.....could of been worse I guess.....BOB listed as a test with his hammy....with his history of soft tissue injuries I'd be giving the fella another week.....but if he is good to go and the weather is good than a bonus for EF. McGough coming back is a plus, especially gives ROB some assistance v Lee and Wulff.....

Not too sure who WCE will have WCE wise, but they do have Rosa and Kennedy out, thus I guess Lycett and McGovern will probably both stay in with Nats replacing Kennedy......and with WCE playing on Sat night in Brissy they will most likely take 2 emergencies on the flight as back up!!

Sneak a win against these guys and it really doesn't matter who out of Subi or WP win.....if Subi win WP are still behind the 8 ball with a Foxtel game to play(take the money fella's....take the money!!) and WP win EF has the chance of sneaking 3rd spot(if they win) and draws Subi into the chase with WP for a finals spot......big ask for EF tho, but both sides are on unbeaten streaks.....so one side will continue on their streak and the other will end one.

Post the EP game EF have a run of three games against lower teams.....geez I hate those tho, could easily get complacent and lose all three and then face WP, SD and Subi in our last three!!!.....EF has a habit of turning up on the last game of the H&A season playing off for a finals spot!!....don't wantto see that happening one bit.....quite pleased EF escaped with a win v Perth, got a feeling with a new game plan, enthusiam and coach Perth could easily string some wins together.....

Freeze, I reckon if EF can snatch a win here, Swans & Subi will really sit up and take notice. It will show that the season is not yet a dead rubber in favour of the Eagles and there are still 4 teams that can win it. (hopefully we'll be ne of the four). A big job to beat an AFL side, but not impossible.

I agree, I think you can beat them. They haven't played a good team since they last played you guys. Played Swans in round 2, us in round 5 and you guys in round 7. They were 2-1 in those three games and the two wins could easily have gone the other way. Since then they have played 6 ordinary teams.

They play the good teams in 3 of the next 4 weeks. With WCE slowly getting injuries or sending players off to season ending surgery their numbers are dwindling and EP don't have the depth to cover.

Think by round 20 there will be some excitement around our three clubs that the season isn't a foregone conclusion.

On paper, the Eagles Bitch FC team for this week looks vulnerable with only about 5 or 6 AFL list players. Certainly their team for the grand final will be a bit different with upto 18 AFL players so dropping a game here or there will make no difference to the premiership gift they will receive later on this year. Sharks may have a chance on Saturday although they will have to play well just to make it a contest.

In previous years people would be bleating about the injustice of the Tigers or Sharks having six AFL list players in their team. Now we view such a number as the only chance any of the seven WAFL clubs have of beating the EBFC. I'm pretty sure the old East Perth team made the grand final last year so certainly the combined team they field on Saturday will still be strong.

Looking forward to listening to the game on ABC radio. Would like to go to Leederville but regrettably not giving those oxygen thieves any of my cash whilst there is an alignment.

Does Strono or anybody know what has happened to Alex Howson? Not been named in the ressies the last two weeks - has he left the club again or is he injured?

I agree, I think The Sharks will win. But then again, I think The Cows will win as well. "dropping a game here or there will make no difference" It'll make a big difference to The Foulcans lol.

"a bit different with upto 18 AFL players" If EP play any finals with more than a dozen EGirls I'll eat my head ... but that's for another forum ...
