Well here we are.....derby day already.....SF have finally got the monkey off their back.....quite pleased SF beat WP.....had a feeling they were due a win....good for their confidence, but glad to see a couple of their boys have a day out which was certainly overdue....

Howlett to come back, good to see EF settled through the midfield and up back....just need to find a few more targets up front....can't see Dalziell kicking bags every week....would love to see Miller back for SF, great war horse for both clubs.....pity not playing his 150th for SF this week.....

For those who went, anyone to come in besides Howlett?....I see Tim Bristow is steadily upping the ante in the reserves after a restricted preseason.....Hooker seems to be racking up the numbers, surely he deserves a go.....perhaps Boyle to make way?....or maybe Williamson?.....

...no doubt southerner will be cranking up the banter on the SF thread.....have SF turned a corner?... or are just WP living on their 2013 efforts?.......

gidday blokes,local grassroots footy has a game on anzac friday.Queens park play Koongamia and we will have a respect ceremony before the game.This aint a WAFL game ,but gotta say there is some great talent playing..TFAF come on down to your local club and have a look/coldie

I felt pretty chuffed yesterday when my young grand daughter said that she wanted to go to the footy at East Fremantle on Friday for the first time and that she wanted to see the pre-game ANZAC observance. Taking her to East Fremantle on Friday means that I will probably miss the ANZAC observance and first quarter at Subi for the Dockers Vs North Melbourne game....but things like this are worth it!

very hard to gauge that SF win, given WP are like yo-yo's at the moment.

Most of the derbies are hard to pick because it doesn't matter where either team sits on the ladder...tradition tells them to never say die. Now THAT's a real derby jardine
