Maybe the long wait for footy to return has blunted my judgement, but 2 of the things I noticed today. WP killed us in the contested pack marks and EF seemed to be much quicker with their hands in tight packs.

58 how did Bristow go?....also Southerner wants to know how Chartres went?............Matty Jupp.......is he Dougie Green reincarnated?.........nice to win, but hey WP were at least 8 first team boys short.......good to win the 4 points, but will our lack of height bite us in the arse .....again!

I didn't think Bristow stood out too much, but he certainly did put his body in the marking contests and I think he showed that he could be very good for us. Chartres was around, didn't set the world on fire but was in a lot of contests. Matty Jupp another Dougie? Whew...big call this early. I thought the much maligned Peakie was good - provided a target around the ground and ran. BOB got barrelled a few times, but got up and went to the next contest. Was WP 8 down? They said on the radio that they had 18 of their 2013 GF team I today. And yes, a I said they killed us in the pack marks. Well that's some of my thoughts, but there will probably be those that disagree.

You are a dead set cock head Freeze ! Great game, EF look good, we were shit, very pleased with the fight back with the 10 min of footy that we actually got it together, shows we still have the desire and spirit !

58, Freeze is being a dick mate re; 8 short, we were near on full strength and were out played, your boys look good for mine. Freeze, for your info, Kraks and Manning were our only first string outs !

Geez Leedy you know I was teasing mate,only round one and you are already pissed off with me! WP are a quality side and their come back only emphasised that......still laugh tho,EF were good,we were shit....another empty compliment.......pity EF took their foot off the gas and made WP scoreline better than it looked with some easy goals at the end.........EF cockiness nearly came back to bite them in the arse....fingers crossed WP aren't so shite next time....

Dont come much emptier than that ! Obviously your attitude reflect your teams, they looked like they were trying to me. Taking your foot off the gas is when your 60 points up and win by 30, not 33 points up with 10min to go and win by 3 !

High pressure game. East Fremantle defence outstanding for most of the game. WP midfield lifted in last 15 minutes to create opportunities. Kudos to EFFC for the International Day, the renovations to the social facilities (Foxtel bonus was well spent), loads of atmosphere. Good crowd, probably 2000 plus.

It was another piss take leedy.......geez you are in a grumpy mood mate.......if this is gonna be our relationship mate I'm filing for a divorce..........like I said before WP fight back clearly showed the quality and grit of the team......but surely if it took WP 3 quarters to kick 4 goals and then 10 min to kick 6 goals......surely EF slacking offplayed a big part in WP last 10 minute flurry.......surely?
