Probably the best footy news I've seen all year - congratulations Rory, if anyone deserved a win, then it definitely was you. And to think Brock was the target and Rory came over with him. One can only wonder if we had the 2 of them on the field if it would have made up those four points we needed. It's going to be hard to beat the AFL teams for a flag, but it would be justice to win one for the EFFC stalwarts that battled their guts out.

well done rory...was just as nervous as you I think but after half way you had it in the bag as you had a hell of a finish to the season - bloody brilliant and well deserved

Well done Rory & well deserved. A tireless work horse. In a year of nearly: nearly making finals & nearly winning the foxtel cup at least the club, supporters & members can enjoy this good news. I really enjoyed watching the live stream. Rory looked truly shocked that he had won & was very humble. I had to laugh when he joked that free kicks from the umpires were counted as hard ball gets.

So he should. A player of his calibre playing in that competition is equivalent to Gary ablett Jr playing wafl reserves.

Is THAT like AFL players playing in 2 WAFL teams Tiger.. E.g playing in AFL reserves

Whats the difference? Professional footballers playing against part time footballers.

Level playing field? - I dont think so.
