Should be another close game v Cl.....Cleaver comes in from his suspension, I guess one out of Zadow or Ball will make way......unless there is late scratching we don't know about. Big ask for McGuire v Eastland, especially since EF only have Jansen and JMarsh as back ups....Eastland tends to go all day....so surprised Strnadica is in the 2nds.....but I guess the run will do the big fella good.

Will need a healthy spread of goalkickers like last week.....be interested to see if Cl go tall in their forward line to stretch EF smaller defensive talls......some news floating around Blakiston and Hodge are sooner than later to return......wish the club would update their injury list.....the colts have an updated list.....

The reserves look a tad stronger from their preseason practice line ups......good to see a number of eligible over age colts playing reserves in Warner, Dean, Hills, Graham, and Pauline.....good luck to all grades....an opening win for the colts and reserves, as well as a consolidating win over Cl in the league....as Peel is up next.

Bit of a modern day rivalry this one- Tigers have knocked the Sharks out of the finals in 2 of the last 3 seasons. Always a bit of spice. Great test for the new look backline with plenty of tall options with Hunter, Minear and Gowdie for the Monts.

More like EF had the very essence ripped out of them KC......the scoreline says it all.....hopefully EF can do what Cl did last year, after EF thumped them by a similar margin last year, by regrouping and putting that abysmal performance behind them.....though it won't get any easier with Peel up next.

EF outmatched and out muscled across all lines.....only positive to come out today was that Strnadica came through the reserves hitout with some impressive stats.....and surely Bill...surely..... must come in next week for a bit of height.....

Yesturday was terrible we def need to bring Strnardica in he dominated in the reserves. Not too concerned but once we get Blackiston and Hodge, Gorringe in things will be ok. 

McGuire is better as a forward or as a CHB, Eastland would not have had a day out if Strnardica was playing league

Terrible performance, but as Freeze mentioned, similar tale for Claremont last year in Rd 2 and they turned it around.

Takeaways for me were we need a genuine ruckman in the side- Reuben is a 2nd ruck - and how much we’re going to miss Jupp. The tall backs were terrible- Murphy in particular, who made basic mistake after mistake. From a leadership perspective as well.

On another note- Mad Dog Marsh isn’t a winger. Plonk him in the square and let him kick 40

I wouldn't be too concerned if I'm EF. We were on and EF had a rare off day. 

Expect you boys to be Top 5 and push deep into finals.
