Yep too little too late for Souths. Good effort by the Sharks today and deserve their preliminary final spot.

As much as EF fell asleep at the wheel in the last stanza.....SF did worse in the 3rd. EF broke the game open in the 3rd to  establish a match winning lead. Jack Cocking led the way with 4 goals up front. Good to see Reuben McGuire back on the park, been very unlucky with injury this year.  I see Blakiston has played enough matches to qualify for the reserves finals, wonder  if he gets a crack next week.

I popped in and watched the 2nd half- great effort by the boys and some promising players coming through. Thought Vladich blanketed Graham, showing he’s a chance to replace Jupp. Cocking continues to kick goals while McDonald, Rankin and Paholski good through the middle. Should be a big test in Prelim- come close to beating Subi and Claremont without taking the chocolates

I watched the last quarter of the game. It was a really good contest. East Freo did well to slow the momentum of the Doggies who were really coming hard but ultimately left themselves too much to do
Still unclear who you are playing next week as the Subi v Claremont game is very close

Fantastic win by the EF boys today. The winning margin surprised me greatly, but not the result. As the last two games between the two sides have been very tight.

Huge positive being the performance of EF youngsters in Austin and Sanchez up front with 9 goals between them.....both played colts this year......and young mid Declan Pauline. Leading goal kicker for the season Jack Cocking kicked 1.3 , after kicking 4.1 the week before v SF. 

To think Blakison is eligible to come in for the GF next week, but has torn his bicep, so will be pushing it TBH. Good to see RMcGuire get some game time, been a very injury interrupted season for the premiership ruckman.

Big ask next week to topple Cl, but I guess you have to be in it to win it......
