Not a bad effort considering PFC tails were up after the WP win, plus EF were missing their skipper. Think Perth missed a trick not playing Quartermaine in the main game, definitely would of stretched EF defensive match ups. Plus Quartermaine always seems to play well v EF.

JMarsh seems to live rent free in a lot of opposition fans head's.....3 goals a piece from EF two tall forwards were the difference between the two sides, as Clarke couldnt repeat his fine effort from the week before and Stubbs could kick straight....think if Quartermaine had been selected, the result could of been different.....but who knows and who cares....its a valuable win for EF at the end of the day.

v Perth would have looked better freeze lol.

I knew coming into the game EF would have put time into Clarke and Cory Byrne. They did it superbly for 3 qtrs. Burner played a ripper last qtr but too little too late.

Clarke took most of his marks up on a wing as we couldn't get it past half forward for 3 qtrs and when we did and looked for Clarke your defence dropped a man in front who took several marks while Clarke was wrestling with his opponent. Psycho was very good along with O'Reilly and your midfield killed us for 3 qtrs especially the centre bounce. You won the inside 50's 50 to 37.

Possibly right about Quartermaine as Stubbs and Cary were awful. But Scoble played well and without him given we lost our No 1 ruckman maybe your forwards kick a couple more. Too good on the day. We had too many passengers.

Constable was on one leg most of the game and played forward.

A game that certainly didn't reach a high standard. Boorloo, unlike Claremont the weekend before, gave us plenty of space and were well behind on the tackle count. A poor umpiring decision towards the end of the last quarter gifted their number 9 a goal and brought the scores closer than they probably should have been. Not much to say other than the 4 points keeps us running with the finals pack.

I’m fanboying here, but sweet Jesus, where would the Sharks be without Cam Eardley? What a rock in the backline.

I’d love to see them get the premiership band back together, but footy moves on. Turner and English are struggling, no Reuben McGuire in ressies and Jackson McDonald ended the ressies with his left arm in a sling. We’re definitely not a premiership threat but it’s been a good couple of years as a supporter. I keep on dreaming that if we make the finals we could win it, but nah, not happening. Another Fremantle flag is a certainty.

I dunno Tragic. The Sharks were very impressive in smashing Subi, who then managed to beat the Freo team in an ordinary game of footy. They looked average. I guess you never know what team will turn up with them, and the AFL conditioning is hard for WAFL teams to match.
