Looks like "Flying Ryan" is an in for WCER this Sunday, which will be good for the comp as a spectacle. Obviously will be on managed minutes, but definitely the sort to cause some mischief in a short period of time against any defence. The likes of Sheed and Culley will be better for the run too.

Obviously any match v WCER will be looked upon as a percentage booster, but EF needs to bring that intensity and accuracy from last week v Cl into this week's game v WCER. Complacency is always the risk here, hopefully Bill is highlighting this and demanding his players to respect their opposition and concentrate accordingly.

The likes of Joyce and English will be better for the run, Marsh could easily kick 1.7 this Sunday, so hopefully Mad Dog can back up his 7 goal performance v Cl.....though sport is a funny old leveler. After that reserves shellacking, can't see anyone coming in  bar Tassone or Cripps perhaps. I see Monaghan has backed in youngsters in Zadow and Dunscombe so far, so will be interesting to see if Bill continues to do so.

Not sure the status of EF injury list, as it hasn't been updated for over 2 weeks on the WAFL site...Meade comes back after a 2 week suspension, though not sure where Gorringe is....was named for round 1, but pulled out last minute. With the bye coming up, it would be a positive being 2/1 and with a decent %, EF could easily find themselves in the top 5, if they win on Sunday. The other teams bar EP & WP,  have done EF a favour by splitting their wins and losses so far.

To be top 5, after a negative start by the end of round 3, is something Bill and his players would definitely be happy about. Though with some big challenges coming up post bye v SD and EP, a win over WCE is a must.

Eagles have a few injuries so id imagine they will take Gaff, I am not sure that it will be a % booster. I hope we bring our A game and win big

You'll be on 200% plus after this round and sitting on one win.

And hopefully in the top 5.....due to the fact the rest of comp, bar EP and WP, have been waxing the wins and losses.....

That sort of talk Whinnen is where complacency creeps in.....WCER are slowly getting some quality back and a few of their players will be better for the run....but agree, if EF are top 5 quality, then they need to fill their boots v the likes of WCER.

I think with the big win over Claremont- the percentage has taken an unexpected boost so winning the game v WCE is suffice. I can’t see West Coast being that poor again

I actually am worried about this game, lets hope our players do not get ahead of themselves. I will be in hiding if we do not win or win by a lot.

Brad Dodd reckons they have a decent team on paper.

Good to see WCER have some decent numbers back. Whilst it is every WAFL clubs desire to spank WCER for that much needed % booster. It is good for the comp that they are competitive TBH. It's a good challenge for the EF players, as they have more tough games coming up after the bye.

EF to win but not like they have done in the past. Also good to see the likes of Eardley, Boekhorst and Murphy will be back after the bye, and O'Reilly a week after that.

Upset of the century. FMD. How do you read that form line from last week. SF beat the Eagles up by 85, EF spank the Tigers by 90 yet yesterday SF just fell over the line by a point over the Tigers.
