Important game for both sides after their first up losses last week. EF regain English, Joyce and BMcGuire, with RMcGuire elevated from the reserves. On paper the side looks similar to last year, will be interesting to see who makes the final cut. Surely with Cl two talls, EF will have one out of Cripps or Blakiston on the bench for back up.

Would like to see young Jack Cocking get a debut. A very smart footballer from Gero, who won the Colts goal kicking last year. Cl are always a tough proposition at home, should be a cracking contest with all to play for.

A noticeably stronger side than last week going to Claremont oval tomorrow. 17 of the premiership team plus the Bull, Teakle and Hagan. Zadow and Dunnscombe have kept their spots. Agree would have been good to see 19 year old Jack Cocking make his league debut. Never know, there may be some last minute changes to the named side - usually is with Monaghan.

Simply superlative. They say a week is a long time in football and today was an outstanding performance from the blue and whites. Don't often see an individual performance worthy of 10 out of 10 but Milan Murdoch must have gone close to it today. 30 disposals and 18!! tackles. Luke English was like a human battering ball and managed 31 disposals. Kyle Baskerville was also excellent through the middle with very good support from Joyce, Turner and McDonald.

Jono Marsh was back to his bullish best, kicking more goals than the entire Claremont side combined. Jed Hagan was also lively up front. Down back, Matty Jupp was outstanding, Lennon Marlin had probably his best game for the club and Jack Cleaver was more than solid. Brynn Teakle in the ruck was also very good, as was Tom Bennett in a different role off half back. Josh Schoenfeld also excellent but really all our players deserve a high level of praise for todays performance.

Fantastic performance against a perennial finals side coming off a loss. Hard to know what it says about either team but if EF play anywhere near their best they’ll be hard to beat. Not many passengers but the usual subjects prominent in Marsh, Murdock, Jupp and Baskerville while unsung heroes like Marlin, McDonald excelled and youngsters, Zadow, Cleaver and Hagan were also excellent.

Not sure what happened in the Reserves but sounds like Eardley, Boekhorst, O’Reilly and Gorringe returns are imminent which should have a flow on effect there

Any win v Cl and at Revo is a good win.....especially when its by 90 pts. Obviously Marsh with his 7 goals will take the plaudits, hopefully he doesn't kick 1.7 v WCER next week.....Definitely a team performance, made even better by not allowing Cl to get a sniff at any point in the match.

Yes KC the reserves definitely had a shocker, can't see anyone coming in next week v WCER after that performance. Perhaps Tassone, and good to see Cripps get a fair bit of the footy for a 2nd week on the trot.

WCER next week, looks like Ryan will be an in for them, I see WCE picked up a couple of injuries yesterday, so a few will be promoted out of necessity I guess. Never like playing WCER, as the expectation is for a percentage booster at the bare minimum, and complacency is always a worry.

Hopefully EF can bring the same intensity and accuracy from the Cl game next week. Going into the bye 2-1 with a decent % is a good result, before a few challenging matches coming up v SD, EP and WP.

Good to see you up and about living it large after a win TM. When was the last time Claremont copped a 90 point hiding? .
Get on your bike.
It was Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve.

Yes definitely having it large today DD. When was the last time Claremont copped a 90 point hiding? Off the top of my head struggling with that one - RD 21 1986, Sharks fresh from beating Perth by 108 points the Saturday before, went to Claremont Oval and flogged the Tigers by 14 goals. But that is not 15 goals like yesterday! Maybe a question for the Claremont thread board  - you never know someone may go onto it one day.

I remember that 1986 rd 21 demolition  over Cl Ti Em....Bennett kicked 10 that day, then kicked another 10 in the 2nd Semi win over Subi.....and then.....well best left forgotten I say......
