The former tabloid sports hack John Townsend went onto the radio yesterday morning and predicted Subiaco would win and gobble up the percentage deficit. A surprised Tony Micale asked for an explanation as to why and Townsend said head coach Bill Monaghan's mind would be on Joondalup's 2013 premiership reunion! Hope the humble pie tastes all right this morning.

East freo have dominated Subi for the last 5 or 6 meetings. Hard to see it turning around. Something will have to change for subi to turn the tables. At the moment it's sharks too fast, too strong, too fit.

Out of interest with EF having both league and seniors in the finals would the likes of JMarsh and O'Reilly be eligible for a run in the reserves next week?....or would EF have to have both senior teams playing on the same day?

JL they seem to have plenty of talls that have genuine pace but also good skills, we looked short yesterday. They had more rotations even without us losing Schoey, they were able to run more through the mids than us. It hurts to see Harry Marsh doing what he did for us but now against us. Absolute quality player, looks like chalking up another flag to go with his Subi collection.
Cant see anyone getting close to the gummies this year, Bill has them cherry ripe hitting finals on a 9 game winning run.
The filthy fly in the ointment will be Peelmantle, wonder which players have qualified and who their AFL masters will let play, or what concessions the WAFC will suddenly allow them. I see Taberner is done for the season with a back injury.
