Practice game 2 up at Joondalup. Still a few missing for both sides. No Reserves game either??? Might venture up to check out the new additions

Not too sure how many are missing....obviously a few of those listed emergencies are best 22.....good to see the ES boys are getting run....plus Goddard.....interesting  no reserves scratchie, COVID related maybe.....

Out of EF: Eardley, Schoenfeld, Jansen come to mind

Nelson, Hutchings and Hamp off the top of my head from WP- but may be more.

I heard that a big group of West Perth players got together last Sunday to watch Aaron Black play for the Eagles. Some of those players got Covid and the rest are considered close contacts. Not enough players left to field 2 teams.

Anyone go yesterday? Looked like a last minute sealer from Goddard to sneak over the line? How did the 3 ES recruits look?

I went along for a look. Goddard actually kick the goal after the siren- great kick from close to 50m out.

Both teams moved the ball quickly at times- which made for a decent spectacle. At one stage the Sharks were 4 goals up- but as always the Cardies fought their way back into it.

Goddard was ok- looks a decent pick up, but Teakle, in the ruck, was excellent. A couple of the Vic players didn’t come on until half time but were lively- playing up forward. The other Vic, McDonald played most of the game and was ok.

Sharks still look like they’ll be around the mark for finals- despite losing the 3 to West Coast. WP look like they’ll challenge once again
