Anyone planning on going to the EF v EP scratch match on Sat? Should be interesting to see who gets rolled out for both sides.....I guess the 3 ES recruits will get a run, wonder if Goddard will? If any EF or EP poster goes for a gander, would appreciate a run down of the game.....I see all 4 grades are getting a run.

Are spectators allowed in? I guess if you don't swim to the ground or dance whilst you're there we should be alright.

Yes, spectators will be allowed in. I believe the level 2 restrictions still in place. Should mean capacity will be at 50%. Not sure where scratch match being played. Let's say EF scratchies played at the WACA which has assumed ground space for 15000 which means 7 and a half thousand should be permitted. And remember to everyone not to forget masks

Great to see WAFL.COM.AU has all 3 grade team selections on their site......Goddard and the 3 ES recruits starting in the reserves first up.....loads of colts boys  named in the reserves side.....league team only missing a few, early days of course,  but will  be interesting to see how a few of those colts boys in Hagan, Otto, McManus, Cleaver and McMillan go stepping up to seniors footy over the pre season.

Looking at it- Boekhorst, O'Reilly, McGuire and Schoenfeld missing. Hopefully nothing sinister there. Will try and get there early to check out those Colts players- I did notice that most are listed on the Senior list as well on the club website

You will need to get there early to watch the league KCEF. These days Colts are considered the main act so they play at 1.20. league 10. 55 and ressies 8.30. 

Some interesting names in the league line ups for tomorrow, old easts have matthew burton, ferals have spider lockitt and peel have roy george

Not a bad effort from Cody Leggett today- kicking 4.4 from Half Back....or maybe a new role?

The Perth boys will be interested if any of those Leggett goals came from set shots whilst kicking in from fullback yesterdsy. 

Any win fo EF in the preseason is a good win I guess.....won very few scratch matches over the last 5 +  seasons under both Wiley and Monaghan's tenure.... touch wood all players got through unscathed.....from what I regard as best 22 - Jupp, Schoenfeld,  Boekhorst, Murdock, O'Reilly and McGuire were missing, with Goddard and the two ES recruits, Williamson and McDonald playing reserves.....pity Strnadica, Joyce and Dixon will be missing long term as well....depth will be EF problem this year.....great to see young Hagan one of the best in EF reserves game....at 17 the kid may get a league opportunity  or three during the 2022 season...
