Sounds like Spud Bill has promised Cody he will get drafted as a full forward.

I go there at quarter time, so only saw the last three quarters. I never read too much in to scratch matches but East Freos ball movement seemed (for a change) much more direct. There was some good passages of play where the ball was moved from the backline, through the middle or outer wings then hitting a leading target in the forward line, rather than always just bombing it in.

I am hopeless with players knowledge, but our ruckman number 6 (Think Teakle) seemed to play well as a sole ruckman, though not sure if he got reported? May of just been a 50 metre penalty.

Sharks certainly capitalised on East Perths turnovers. From their point of view, i believe they were missing quite a few regular league players and it showed as they had a lot of basic skill errors. Especially kicks that seemed to go to either East Freo players or miss anyone altogether.

A lot to like for a change, but early days yet and obviously not a true test against a full strength opposition line up.

Not a bad effort from Cody Leggett today- kicking 4.4 from Half Back....or maybe a new role?
The way Leggett went about taking his many set shots on goal did suggest a future forward line role. If he had his kicking boots on could of come away with a real bag of goals and our potty-mouthed guests a 15 goal drubbing.

Chris Walker, I thought showed a bit. Smallish backline appeared to do well. Not much else to report.
