Great first quarter by the Demons....well deserved victory....what happened to Schoenfeld and O'Reilly?....ain't got the depth to cover our better player losses pre and during a game......no decision yet made on Bill for next year....needs a lot more victories, I reckon to even get a sniff of a new contract.....

O'Reilly was not sighted after a heavy collision early in the match. Also Milan Murdock hobbled from the field in the 3rd quarter which is a bit of a worry.

Smashed in the midfield- no Chalmers, Schoenfeld or English. Grey and #1 killed us- fair play to Perth they were desperate and got the job done. 23 looked dangerous and Busher will be a great pick up. The last quarter malaise against EP rolled into the 1st Q here. As for Buffalo, those are the games he needs to win. How could he not get these guys up for this game???

Moment of the match - Leggett gets a dubious free kick at half forward. Showing his customary class, he mouths off at his opponent, drawing a warning from the ump that the free might be reversed. He goes back to take the kick, pausing for just a second to glance lovingly at that deadly right boot he was certain would propel him to AFL stardom. In he strolls and unleashes a 20m helicopter which flopped straight on the chest of a Perth defender.

Masto was a big out for us. Sounds like the drums are beating for Buffalo. Like number 11 Morgan Davies. Did you poach him from Claremont? Didn’t you tell him Perth is the destination for surplus Claremont players? Jansen was good. Big lad. Has he been on an AFL list?

Jansen played games for Brisbane and was originally drafted to a Melb club- Geelong I think?? Davies has been with us for 3 seasons and has been a good pick up. Usually down back.

Leggett had a shocker today but wasn’t alone. In fairness, his good games have well and truly outshone his bad ones.

How good is Browne in the colts? He’s been there for two seasons from his stats. Would he be a chance to play league?

Not sure about your assessment on Snadden. Thought he was pretty quiet. Burton has had plenty of opportunities over the years and never taken them. Classic player who is a tad better than Ressies level. Wouldn’t mind seeing Gorringe or even Williams or Browne from Colts instead of going back to a Burton or Monaghan

Surely O'Reilly is out for the WCE game, if so, with no colts or reserves match, Willliams might indeed get a call up....not so sure about Browne, especially if Schoenfeld and English are back....though Browne has been dominating in the colts. Gorringe seems to be getting some decent numbers in the reserves, perhaps as good a time as ever to give these youngsters a crack....saying that ex colts boys in Jackson and Rivers didn't get a look in in 2019....and they were dominating back then......
