First training session tonight for the 2021 season, lots of notices on the EF website about current players signing on for next year.....be interesting to see what the likes of Manning and Kommer do....if both pull the pin, their experience and hardness will definitely be missed, but definitely frees up some points in order to snag a tall goal kicking forward....with the draft not too far away, no doubt some more players will become available for clubs in the WAFL....December will be an interesting month I reckon for all concerned in terms of recruiting.

Good day to start footy training Freezin. About 20 degrees in Perth today and bucketing down with rain!

Gee mate, it was 20 degrees here on Sat for a mates daughters wedding, folk here were sweltering under the sun....LOL

Had a bit of a look at the NZ v WI 20/20 from the Bay yesterday and it looked like the West Indians had about 5 layers of clothing on to protect them from the wind!

I went down for a look- pretty short session. Schoenfeld won the run and Chalmers was in top 5. O’Reilly looked in good nick also. Whispers were a key forward signing is imminent. No word on English or Marsh so assume they’re unlikely

Cheers for that KC....Marsh I reckon will be staying in Victoria as I think his partner still has one year left on her degree...tho Marsh would definitely be handy for EF, more so then English TBH. I too have heard a whisper about a key forward, think draft dependent, but could be another one maybe....definitely need a key forward...preferably a mobile one...unlike the previous one who really had no plan B once the ball hit the ground.

It's a pity the likes of Walker and Carroll won't be at EF next year....the former has that outside run the team is looking for and the latter silky skills and decision making which the team also lacking.
