1/6 definitely not what the EF fans wanted at the start of the season....though could easily of been 4/3 with 3 tight 4,5 and 6 point losses on the trot....not to be though. SD seemed to have found their goal kicking mojo v Perth last weekend, defence wise EF seemed to have a settled unit, so touch wood they can do the job....up front is the problem for EF, no out n out goal kickers of any note, tall or small....which has come back to haunt the side of late in those 3 tight losses mentioned above....

Obviously Kommer is done for the season and probably career wise as well, Griff surely comes back for one last hurrah if he decides to retire in 2020. Can see a few others playing their last games for EF under the Monaghan regime as well....more so after that reserves shellacking v Subi reserves on Sat.

Not sure why the 7th v 8th teams get a telly gig, but more often then not the games between both clubs have been fairly close of late. Can't see any changes to SD line up, as for EF, sounds like Teakle got injured, so one would think Griff will be back if fit, jnr picked up double figure possessions v Subi, so he's in, can see Montuaban being under the pump to keep his spot, not sure who else comes in, but surely a tall must come in to help Griff v Gault and Blakely..especially with SD classy mids.....Strnadica only played 60% game time v Subi on Sat, so not sure how ready he is to go fitness wise....whilst I think Bonomelli and Loersch have had their cards marked.....leaving Watson....though since he hasn't played a league game under Monaghan in 18 months, don't think he will be selected...

Colts need to win to secure their finals spot, as the winner out of SF and Perth will take 4th spot if they don't....

Considering his underdone preparation I’d say it’s a fair fete if he pulls it off. Pretty sure didn’t win a Butcher medal or even runner up. He must feel like a big fish in a small pond now. ??

Probably the only change to the Swans team would be Noble returning from suspension.

I guess the fella is probably just relieved more then anything not to be winning another spoon DD, won a few at his former club from memory.....

I see Griff has officially retired, so hopefully the side can send the big fella off in style....been a grand servant for the club.

Leggett would have to be some chance to win B&F. Though there hasn't really been a standout performer over the 7 games.

Hopefully EF send Griff off in style. It's been a nearly season but they'd need to recruit well in the off season to make the jump into finals contenders.

You Perth blokes got any other players worth pinching?

You wouldn't be interested. We've ripped all the contracts up after learning they don't mean shit if they are not on a list. No fun stealing a player that isn't under contract. Funny isn't it, yet a player that isn't under contract is tied to a club as long as he is on a list.

I'm sure he would rather have been at the club this year if he knew if he'd stayed he might have made the difference between making the four and not.
