Pretty decent side. Matthew Jupp, Kody Manning, Cameron Loersch and Tom Bennett could consider themselves unlikely not to find a spot on Mark Duffield's team.

Very good side for sure but someone should tell the writer that Boekhorst is originally from SD, Kommer from EP & Davies from CL!

Very well spotted BH. Actually as great as Kommer is he does battle with injury though. So Sharp could move to a forward pocket. Bennett can take his spot on a wing. Boekhurst is a gun - we will have to find a replacement for him though. Manning would be perfect for a forward pocket - but he came from Joondalup. So there is a slight problem - but it can be fixed.

Yeah thought the inclusions of Boekhorst, Davies and Kommer were out of sync with the whole purpose of picking that side.....Jono Marsh takes Davies spot up back, Sharp to the FP instead of Boekhorst, Eardley to the wing for Sharp, Luke Jackson to the FP for Kommer and bring three out of Rivers, Warner, O'Reilly, Jupp or Bennett to the bench.

TBH can't think of any other WAFL club who could match this side using home grown players....Cl at a push perhaps....

Harry Marsh could fill one of the vacated spots.

Hear hear Freez...EF have been brilliant in delivering talent for a very long time and you'd only need to get a handful of your AFL guys back to be successful on-field once again.

Why the writer would include the non EF zone lads who are not on afl lists and then not include the likes of ex EF boys like O'Reilly, Ruscoe, Rivers, Warner & Joyce who are on afl lists currently is bizarre to say the least TE & Freeze?!
Very good side nonetheless.

Have attempted to name an ex SD players current afl listed side to attempt to take on the outstanding EF side posted above.
Obviously is probably a touch less quality in depth than the Old Easts side but not a bad one all the same.
Maybe TOO can provide a Claremont squad and some of the other regulars can post for their respective teams as well?

BA- Tobe Watson (FD), Alex Rance (RI), Nathan Broad (RI)
HB- Sam Taylor (GWS), Griffin Logue (FD), Ethan Hughes (FD)
CE- Lewis Jetta (WCE), Connor Blakely (FD), Neville Jetta (MEL)
HF- Riley Garcia (WB), Marcus Adams (BRI), Brad Lynch (WB)
FO- Charlie Cameron (BRI), Rory Lobb (FD), Jarrod Cameron (WCE)
RU- Nic Naitanui (WCE), Michael Walters (FD), Steven Coniglio (GWS)
IN- Jake Pasini (PA), Harry Edwards (WCE)

Jeff Garlett (MEL) delisted at the end of last season could possibly fill one of the 2 interchange spots left.

Yeah bit of a head scratcher BH...I guess for some COVID reasoning if the AFL wasn't able to play and the WAFL was and all those guys wanted to play some WAFL footy, that's how the team would turn out...who knows the fellas logic....as an EF fan nice to see an EF wish list side....I think they would give Subi a run for its money...or atleast get close....LOL
