As on the EP site...who do the EF boys see as EF top 5 and 5 to improve for 2020.

Top 5 at the club in my view (in no particular order) are
Boekhorst Eardley Strnadica Jupp Morgan

5 to improve- Bennett, Baskerville, Murdoch, Teakle and Davidson

and 5 to stay fit Kommer, Loersch, Tucker, Snadden, Ryan.

The top 5 are givens each weekend, as is the skipper, who surely at 34 is in his final season.

The first 3 of the middle 5 are ones Monaghan invested a lot of faith in his first year at EFFC....with Teakle and Davidson hopefully earmarked to follow suit.

Whilst the bottom 5 are players I have no doubt Monaghan would love to have on the park more then what they did in 2019.

No doubt others from with in and outside the club, will have their own IMHO.

Yeah Boekhurst is probably our best player - naturally very gifted. Eardley is a fine footballer - gives his all week in week out. I would have Jansen 3, Griffin with his ruckwork at 4 and Manning 5.

Cheers Ti Em....be interesting where Bill plays Manning this year, bit of banter of Facebook between the defence coach Sanzone and Manning about getting him in the back line for 2020...

Yeh apparently there’s a spot on the half backline available previously earmarked for someone else.

Yeah that earmarked player for half back is probably a year off. Manning with his physicality may-be better suited to the forward line. Actually a fit Kommer is probably top 5 for us - hopefully he plays more this season than the last 2. The same goes for Lester Smith who also has been very unlucky with injury. A very good player and a real club man too. Loersch also fits into the same category regarding injury - hopefully his woes are behind him. Improvement wise it would be great to see Bonomelli kick on and grab an opportunity by the scruff of the neck should it come along again. Others to look out for improvement from would be Marshall, Holmes, Robinson and Burton - all still young but have had a few chances particularly under Wiley.

Spud Wiley gave everyone a chance because he didn't have a farking clue Ti Em....not many coaches have won a spoon down at EF, but Spud Wiley will go down in WAFL history as one of them.....

Good to see Jayden Quill on Perth's list now...at 176cm, no doubt he will be earmarked for a midfield possie that needs filling, after the previous occupant, a shoe in for state selection apparently, jumped ship for greener pastures....apparently for less pay too....he must of been really desperate to jump ship....despite what the many MRP cabin boys may think.

Shame to see Jayden Quill go - his dad of course has been an excellent player for and supporter of the EFFC over many years. The writing was on the wall for Jayden when he was not chosen in the first week of the Ressie's finals campaign last year. Injury brought him in the following week and he was a solid contributor in the win over Subi. But he has not yet played a league game and would be behind the likes of similar types Burton and Robinson - who also struggled to get league births in Monaghan first season at the club.

Not sure Mr Quill is good enough to get a league birth in front of a couple of Colts.
Couldn't get a game for your lot.
Injuries might see him get a ressies game.
lol

Heard Perth paid 7k for Quill.

Money well spent to be a fringe Reserves player, hey DF?
