Congratulations to PADDY mcginnity on playing his 200th AFL/WAFL game today and i;m pleased he's been happy to achieve it in the intensity and passion of a PERTH DERBY,just like his old man Kevin in front of a good crowd, which is something he wouldn't have experienced at his original WAFL club. Also hats off to Jeremy Barnard who is coaching a side with 10 players with less than a dozen games of WAFL games and making the kids look like seasoned veterans, and also to my main man ''DOBBO'' YOU STAR

Good luck to him tomorrow.

Are we sure he is even playing tomorrow.Had a look at the current team selection for league and reserves and can't find him in either squad.

Apparently between Saturday and Monday the team changed, my apologies

What can I add to the summaries thus far, could not post anything last night I just kept on reliving the moment. It was a fair bit about beating a valiant and worthy foe but it was more abt the way the boys played.

Yep Kerr and Scott played well but for me it was the Ajangs, Dobbos, Hille's who played (along with the other boys) it was an EP game to savour.

I missed pretty much all of the colts game due to sausage and onion cooking but it seems that the game was close to half time but WP just played better and had a better system. The system that was apparent in the futures game on Friday night.

The ressies played well and came away with the choccies, good stuff boys!

I reckon if I was WP supporter I would be a bit disappointed with the outcome but there were passages when you were clearly switched on but they were few and far apart. The boy tried hard but seemed to be used as a stop gap and why do that when he is your best forward.

How good is Dobbo going, said he would come good a few games in, not just a one trick pony can play forward and back in the midfield if required. Give this kid a go, he could be anything. Vice like hands and beautiful kick

I've said it many times SD, I think Dobbo is our X-factor. I am just wondering why he wasn't in the team from the first game.

And after watching the Ressies, I also think we have picked up a good recruit in Eddie Simpson from Claremont. He is a big lad.

Funnily enough 2019, that is the only reason he is at EP, he wanted to go back to WP for less than half that but we were at that stage that we couldn't offer any contracts until the accountants had signed off, meanwhile EP agreed to his asking price for $1500 a game. The Alignment well and truly set you up, I never felt sorry for EP and the bullshit that they will struggle, they have the $$ to pick up some good players, a much better position than other WAFL clubs.

Doubt that kerr is getting so much more then wellingham and he is a former afl player
I was listening to a conversation that Bronte was having with someone and he mentioned how much wellingham was getting per game.
It's not as if we would have to get into a bidding war.

Do some digging Gents, you will find I'm not far off the mark. Kerr is a better player than Wellingham, in fact the 6-7 minutes after 1/2 time was the only time I have seen Wellingham get out of 2nd gear.

He is third in the league for kicks and second for marks, so should be on $3000. Wellingham battling hamstring troubles this season, when fit as good as anybody. Appreciate you giving some WP perspective on the forum Leedy.
