Dont think we will get too many people there tonight. Also congrats to another new kid playing league in Kye Willcocks. Have to try these players to see what they can do. Not entirely sure how we will go but hoping for a win obviously.

I can understand the Anzac twilight fixture as it was over by 7pm and always going to be better weather..
Having not one but two games on a Thursday night against west coast.I don't see any benefit for either club.Stupid fixturing.

Is there any reason for the Thursday night game Chaddy as I'm struggling to see the benefits? Not only hard for supporters to get along on a cold night but really tough for the EP players who probably worked today and have to front up again tomorrow.

I can't see any benefits. Not even being telecast unless you can call the west coast streaming on facebook a telecast. We lose ramsay due to the fact that he played sunday so we will be up against it.maybe payback from the wafc for pulling the pin on the alignment. I can't see how it can help wafl footy.Playing Saturday made sense. We have another Thursday night game in august. How did the eagles and east perth let this happen.

Don’t think the lighting will be up the Weagles standard

Ask your club, it is entirely up to them when game played.

My guess is wce asked so that whole wce squad could go to game tomorrow night and EP said sure thing. They've had plenty of practice. But ask.

I have a hunch that East Perth supporters who braved the cold tonight would be going home with a wide smile on their faces. A victory to symbolise the return of the authentic Royals. Well done guys.

Thanks, Mike, from a Royals' perspective, it was well worth the trip.
Tremendous performance by the boys and Jeremy Barnard's message is getting through.
Always a good sign when you both out-possess (343-278) and out-tackle (61-41) the opposition.
Great to get one up on the former "arranged marriage" partner.

Superb effort by the boys tonight and i was very pleased our X factor Dobbo was finally included and even though he hasn't got the greatest work ethic not to many in the wafl can hold this man on a one on one cont and thankyou bookies for the 4.80 and 30 point line and as Bruce Mcavaney would say that was ''DELICIOUS''
