Surely there is a kid worthy of selection in the squad?? It annoys me when they don't pick at least one from each club.

Is Rhi-Arn Cox currently injured as he played for WA as a 17yo last year?

Currently playing for Dianella-Morley Colts. One of the great mysteries this kid's footy career trajectory.

Grump may know why but he hasn't appeared for EP colts this season.

Being very careful abt what is to be said but as I understand it would seem that despite the best and long efforts of Uncle Rod, the EP colts Coach and Manager it would seem that this another case of apples and trees.

It is rumoured that the night before a visit from and AFL club Northbridge and an altercation got in the way but that is heresay but would seem to be being born out by other things in his life.

The choice between being a Garlett or a Stack had to be made and ............ .

There are a couple of boys that might have been close but not quite upto he standard required. The team is young and perhaps next year will see a couple work their way into the side

STT, I have to disagree, the state 18's must be the strongest possible team, by enforcing a feel good minimum pick from each side is destined to weaken the combination. The fact that 1 team may have 8-10 gun players and another none, is just how it is, we must field the strongest team.

Ony talking squad SS, they don't necessarily have to play. I reckon it was an unwritten rule for state squads, PFC would always get one in senior squad no matter how bad we were going.

It's not about winning they tell us. If it was fine but they tell us it is about development of the players and the game.

EP and SF have provided some quality youngsters over the years to WA U/18 footy....just not their year this year....cyclic process.....could easily be reversed next year.....

Just seen the 16s squad....SF have 6 reps and EP 3.
