But at the end of the day this years a belmont barrier trial we'll give everyone on the list a go and see what we need at the end of the season and no one can complain about getting an opportunity this season.

What it is abt, it is loyalty to the club, simple as that oh with the loyalty of the members back.

Your club is doing well, it is a model of how to stick it out and build a team worthy of the plaudits your getting, I just hope it doesn't take 50 years for us to get back!

For that reason whilst possessing talent the likes of Hille and Magginess are marginal selections. Statistics count for nothing when your not competitive in a contest.

19 I agree with one but think that you are being a bit hard on Hille. He isn't a small forward he is a wingman but circumstances mean he is one of the few that get forward and score a goal or two!

I would stick with Arbon and Blee with the others except Best being good selections, we all have an opinion as will Barnard but at least he is swinging some changes and that is pleasing.

I know I will get shot for this but Kerr and Scott aren't worth their selection or the money we are paying, play the younger guys and lookout for players who will come into the club who are also young and want to play not just get paid!

Agree about Best. He didn't even get a gig in the Res by the looks of it. They cant just have a full team of kids with less than 6 games experience. Need some older guys too such as Kerr and Scott. Otherwise imagine the players confidence when they get smashed around the contest and on the scoreboard. Hille is a good player so not sure he should be even mentioned of being dropped. So far , Arbon , Redhead , Ruddrum , Ameduri , AJ ( only a couple of league games last year) North , Eaton have received games in 4 rounds. So that's blooding the right amount. Not sure on Busher , Gorter and Magro. Good discussion though.

The experience question is always a perplexing one, I would have thought that between Wellingham, McGinnity, Blee, Anderson and even Hille we have expeienced players to support those players who have played 50 or so ressies games and there a few of them. Experience is great when combined with other things that are brought to the table and in MY opinion kerr and Scott aren't bringing enoough other stuff to justify their selection.

I would put Ben Miller in front of those two any day of the week.

Tom Gorter is a good WAFL player who through his own efforts got delisted, then suffered a bit off the field issues and is still getting back to the form that got him drafted, he will and talking to him he is working on it!

It is a good discussion and just think no termites or crabs!

What it is abt, well that is a long story but for you the short version, he put in funds to keep the club going reached a point in his tenure where he and the club figured they need to repay the debt, in order to do that and be financially secure they made a decision albeit one that not many agreed to or supported paid all the debts without going to the government for a handout and reached another point where the unholy alliance was not acceptable and left it!

He and most of the board made decisions to ensure he viability of the club and has stuck by the club and the members have stuck by him in the election process.

He in his days of AHG boss pumped a lot of sponsorship in to the WAFL and you and we should be thankful that!

I would hope we don't get into a lot of crap abt the alignment as it has finished and we ALL need to move on.

Your club is looking good and well done for that and I hope that your success is continued and gives us hope for the EP future but hey not 50 years worth!

Beautifully said Grump, it could be seen as Bronte taking advantage of WCE with one aim in mind, to secure the financial future of the club, while enduring a period of pain and derision from opposition supporters of which I certainly was one. Good luck to your club while you work through the player re-build process which will be a couple of years. It's great to have the 8 traditional clubs back together and competing in the WAFL.

Thanks, trouble is I figured it was opening the door to the alignment vitriol and edited it. Oh well we shall see which one gets flogged the most but thank you!

Yes Grump If Hille plays like he did after half time clean and sharp he is worth a spot despite not being a fierce competitor. He might have saved his spot by finding form just in time. Scott looks fine to me, and one guy that’s skill level is up to WAFL standard. Kerr a big body and experienced but clearly should not of played Thursday because he looked very sore. Rudrum a shock to me played so well he looked like Steve Curtis. Magro can play but needs to produce more.

The problem with East Perth this year is Not Scott and Kerr.We just are not hitting the scoreboard.Any changes to the team need to fix up a dysfunctional forward line.I would love to see the following.Either Blee or Shaggy play forward To give us more then Houghton as a target.Blee played as a utility during the last few years and did play in the forward line a bit.Samelko once fit and in form would be a upgrade for redhead as his development is more advanced. If dobbo can't get into the midfield then maybe playing him as a half forward could be a option as I have been disappointed with magro..Haven't seen much of McGuire but he seems like he is a chance to get a game sometime this year.Let's concentrate on what our problems are.It is not effort but skills and lacking some key forwards.
