Good game, played well by both sides.

We did we enough to suggest that when the full side is in place we will be ok and perhaps not the basket case many thought!

Tony okolongo was very good in the ruck, Pat Mcginnity great around the ground, seems to have shed a little weight and moved much more like his WCE days. The structure was working but we just had those lapses when we needed to be surer with the ball but it will develop. Angus Scott looks like he can play and that is a good thing for us.

Looking forward to the next weeks to see where we are at!

both teams looked a bit rusty.Hard to know where we are with 5 regulars missing,extended benches and playing 25 minutes quarters.In the end some of the experienced west coast players were the difference.Will be interesting to see how west coast can fit in all the big guys in a squad of 22.

Sharrod Wellingham,Mitch Dobson,Callum Hart,Jackson Ramsay and Joel Houghton.All will be top 22 players this year.Hard to get a handle on how both teams will go in a mickey mouse scratchy.i am pretty sure all 26 player on the team listst got to play at least part of the game.Great to see Mitch Howlett back at the club and playing.One of the few players still young enough to help to rebuild the club.

to be honest I didn't notice him too much but their were a lot of new faces and it was my first time at a scratchy so I was spending a bit of time consulting the team list trying to figure who was who.i was sitting behind the interchange bench which also isn't the best place to view the whole field.

He did ok like most of the team, I suspect that was the plan!

I haven’t seen much but Magro looked great. Fast, aggressive and dangerous around goals. Hope he gives it a year or two to get the best out of himself.
