to win a premeirship.
The gall of them stacking the reserves with good players to beat other sides, it clearly smacks of the Peel sides of recent years. Surely there are rules in place to stop this type of stacking.
The reserves ran out against the top side and whilst I thought we would do ok I could not the outcome as a reality. Apart for the first 10 minutes of the 3rd quarter we seemed to be able to move the ball at will and score with ease. The players all seemed to revel in the conditions and being able to play EP football and that showed in the outcome.
Special mention needs to be made abt two players one as he is an WCER player and the other cos he is an EP one. Okolongo and Ajang Ajang who seemed to have the better of Goddard who is good at the ruck contest but the two boys seemed to have his measure around the ground. There is one thing and that is perhaps a few stats for AJ went Oko's way mmm both tall, gangly and well you know the rest, who can tell!
Hille, Miller and Dobbo had goods days and showed they are good footballers. Shayne belied his stature which apparently was the reason he was dropped from the game against Subi to once again be hard at the ball and win a few frees for his efforts.
Our back line showed great poise and teamwork with some really great passages of play out of the back into the middle.
Two reports and you have too wonder whether or not the PSA umpires who were officiating actually see men play at a mans level very often, dumb!
Due to the TV coverage changing the game times and that I have to back in my cage early I did not see the colts game but a win is good for the boys, well done!
