Was an interesting day with games played in two parts.

The Colts game went from a scintillating display in 2 quarters to one quarter where i kept thinking we can still win the game cos we will be kicking to the scoring end and Swans will be kicking to the end where goals were hard to find (tech school). It would seem that when you are playing good footy and play with heart and passion you can do almost anything and in the first half we had it but the Swans got it and we looked at a loss about what to do in order to curtail Swans run. Both teams had boys out with state duties and PSA commitments but the gap left seemed to be covered better by Swans. For EP Jacob Msando,Ben Santella and Jordan Hayden palyed very good games, in fact I would say Jacobs game was quite brilliant. For Swans Bain and Cameron stood out with their run and aggression.

The Reserves game started out in a similar vein with the boys putting on a scintillating display ( the word of the day) in the first 2 quarters with Swans coming out in the third playing some good footy and I thought to myself that oh well could this be a repeat off the colts but something clicked and we ran away withe the game through some very hard work and good decisions. The boys were direct, looked for options and played as a TEAM. Troy Yukich looked good against the double act of AJ and okolongo but the weight of numbers (certainly not body size) wore him down and EP players like Dobbo, Stan the man, Miller and other were able display their skills and endeavour. Shaggy and Kobe (Chrisp not Bryant) held sway in the backline. Two players I would like to make special mention of are Jaimie Rudrum and Blake Reilly both of whom played good games.
We live in a time where intelligent people are being silenced so stupid people won't be offended
