Not at all freeze both are coming along very nicely despite the fact we have had to totally fast track/redevelop /retrain them on how to play football because of obviously which club they have come from where that is not a priority at all. Both have even come along so quickly they have even managed a few League games each something also foreign to them from where they have come from where outsiders have first dibs at senior selection!

I think the issue with Ellenbrook is that Swans developed that part of the zone up from scratch and then it was taken away.

Junior clubs are taken away from WAFL clubs all the time I don't understand what makes Swans so special or more deserving. Are you saying Slater and Wityk received zero opportunity and zero good coaching at EP. Or am I Misinterpreting you. Kalamaris? Also those league games for Slater and Wityk which talented Swans juniors have been overlooked to provide these. Also which Swans juniors failed to make the senior squad to enable you to recruit 3 disillusioned EP youngsters.

On another train of thought, does it benefit the colts competition and the WAFL in general to have an unequal Colts competition. How weak would you like EP colts to be. Perhaps if Swans play Claremont every year on the grand final that is healthy for a viable WAFL in the future. Or would you like Ellenbrook to go to Subiaco perhaps maybe just the fact that it's EP is a problem.

So what then, shuffle junior clubs around to cover for ones incompetence?
If East Perth were actually half decent at identifying and developing youth then they wouldn't have had to sell their soul!
What I'd actually like is for clubs to get off their asses and build successful programmes and pathways like swans have done in the last 10 years and the competition would be in a lot better state!

2 years ago Swans colts finished last and were getting beaten by 20 goals, let me know if East Perth ever get that bad.
Didn't see any club give us any benefit then, imagine how much Dean Turner would cry if that happened.
Without doubt the funniest thing I have read this year was Turner saying the 3 young kids that have played this year have faded out of games so they need another experienced player and later that day they got beat by a team that played 4 first year players in the same day, no wonder CUB flicked him, wouldn't know how many beers in a carton

We don't teach them to write letters tho, just in case they all get together and get the coach sacked, that works well.

Freeze would have you believe McGough went out of his own accord down at Condemned Park as was portrayed in the local media! :pinch:
