How many draftees did East Perth Eagles have?

East Perth had the exact amount I was hoping for.

It's no surprise they had no one drafted, only got themselves to blame for that. They've got a few comin their way though haven't they and you watch them claim them as their own as they always have. Fake club.

How do justify such stupid statement as this, so now it is the 18 years fault they were not drafted.

The Club has made a decision regarding its senior process but leave the development process out of it! First day of colts training we had 70+ players and since 50+ at each training night , oh and the difference is the country boys went home.

Heap whatever, please be rational tho' on the league process but leave the ressies and colts/development process out of it!

We had three Colts players with a chance and they were not considered up to whatever standard or required for positional selection at this stage of their careers.

The list of players at all clubs who fall into this category is endless but you aren't blaming them.

I think you will find east perth have ploughed as many resources into junior development as anyone else over a fair period. Same old ignorance by people that have no idea or any factual basis to their rubbish. Genetics are almost the only factor in a player making the AFL, also the decision to start playing is important obviously. Junior clubs probably have more input to a player than WAFL clubs.

Royal2019, no doubt there has been many resources ploughed into junior development however like many within the district over many years have questioned the use of those resources and the competence of those involved with those resources. I could have misunderstood you however the apparent lack of the right genetics within our district has been one of the biggest and most overused excuses going around at EP. There is and has been a heap of talent coming through both from the city and from the country.

you are dead right we have great talent coming through, Mitch Fraser, Hodgeson, Shanahan and Jones plus many others. The efforts made in the development process are starting bring batches through rather than the exceptions that occurred previously.

We will have to wait and see what this years crop brings to the table.
