Don passed away on the 23rd of June peacefully. He was 85. RIP

Don was before my time but is held in regard at East Perth for the impact that he had in his four-year, 69-game career, including four goals in the 1959 Grand Final win in his first season.
From reading the late Ron Head's excellent profile of Don on this website, it seems that he was a reluctant footballer, with his father keen for him to stay on the family farm at Shackleton. 
Condolences to his family, including his nephew (if I'm not mistaken) Karl Langdon.
