This will give us both a fair indication of where we both at!

Should be a good one. I've got a wedding on so will rely on Oz footy. The west seem to have down graded their wafl coverage .

Should be a great battle in the ruck between the two most dominant ruckmen in the comp. Both dominated the tapout’s in round 1.

From my view point I want to see how our mids stack up against Subiaco. Giro is a dominate player much like some of the Swans players, Crowden did enough to show he will be a good one for us, Amerduri was used as a tagger at times but let loose at otheer times during last weeks game, will Brayshaw continue on with his use of the ball (which was much better than some games most of last season), this will be another test. How will our forward deal with a good backline, so many questions and I don't have any answers yet!

Pretty well matched up all over the ground, will be interesting to see if Subi take a punt on bringing in Mayo and Borchet to add some height to the forward line, Sokol played a brilliant single hand last week but cant expect him to do that all the time.

It seems that the coach is sticking with the same team as last week. I suspect that Ethan Regan may make debut but will only know @ 2pm tomorrow, I hope the line up shown is wrong and Scott is not on a wing but a small forward like last week.

Grump I was impressed with the standard of footy that East Perth produced last week particularly in the first half. The ball movement and skills were certainly better than last year from that performance. When Swans had the ball their pressure was excellent.
If they can reproduce that style tomorrow they are more than capable of beating Subiaco. What they need to guard against is the fade out in one quarter that nearly cost them the game last week.

Thanks Mike, I am not sure we faded as much as Swans did what was required to put us under pressure and that meant we had to move the ball and react faster than we had hence the errors and miscues'! More of a Swans thing that cause what looked like a fade out!

The day started out with my not having checked the fixtures very well so I had no colts to watch but had to watch the girls and well done to Subiaco, well played!

The reserves gave me a real shock, if the Subi league play with the same speed and directness as their reserves we will be in for a real shock. Farone, Hitchcock and Robinson along with Patterson were very good. For us I continue to be impressed with Regan, Boule and Jonah Brooks, they with Tarrkyn Narrier all did their best to keep us in the game. Albertson has shown in 2 games he can be a leading and marking target in the reserves and might if circumstances require in the ones. It was great to see Jedd Edwards back and 56 HO's was a good return first up, looks like he needed the run and maybe a few more but great to see him back. All in all Subiaco were the much better team, but we have some talent in there to watch and like!

And then we had the league game and Subiaco went into attack and the string bean takes a mark and converts, mmm looked like we were in for long day but it was to be the opposite. Robertson on Sokol answered the question many had been asking and keeping him to three goals continues to prove his best position in in the backline, funny that! Oh and of the 4 free kicks Subi got three of them came for Robertson (not a criticism but Sokol maybe would have 2 instead of the 4).

The preseason concerns regarding our ability to kick a score and keep the opposition to a respectable one has so far been not an issue, we looked really good going into attack and decisive coming out of defence. The third quarter was an issue but again you really have to credit Subi for changing their process around but again we showed that we have learnt how to stop a run, get control and finish a game out.

Couple of players to mention, Alex Pearce is a real find. He is just a good player who gives his all with his run, kicking and enthusiasm. Mitch Crowden really did show that he will be the inside mid we need so that Brayshaw and Ameduri are not the only ones getting in and under!

Giro was clearly Subiaco's best player and deserves any rewards that come his way.

As always oops for any narrative errors!
