I’m a little confused Chaddy, what was my sledge on Simpson?  I think he was absolutely our best option.  Going forward we need a more damaging alternative.

Firstly i won't have any problem with any eagle agreement IF the club and coach have complete autonomy of gameday selections, because i know that Barney is nobodies LACKY,and he would probably tell them to stick it ''where the sun doesn't shine''and i would walk away again as well.
As far as our list goes,we have the best ruckman,we have a solid midfield, probably the best back pocket in the league in Jacob Msando, one of the best half backs in Kyle Willcocks,so i believe we have the nucleus of what can and will be a very good team.I even believe Eddie is a good enough target at F.F and provides a target, but we seemingly don't have enough crumbers who can swoop when the ball hits the ground, and i believe Shayne Hille who has played nearly a hundred games, has been a little disappointing in that department.
When we did have somewhere near our best team,we won 5 from 7 including the defeat of 2 top 4 teams, and i made no bold predictions at the beginning of this season, and i was alot more bullish about our prospects before the start of the 2020 season, and that was before i was made privy to the retirements of Anderson and Wellingham who succumbed to injuries, and we all saw how strongly we finished in that years shortened season. We also cannot overlook the impact of losing the wily tough veteran McGinnity, who was an onfield spiritual leader.                                                                                                                     So i am happy to report that yours truly who has been in sparkling form lately and, will be bang on target with next years prediction, and you will all be happily proven wrong.

Simpson doesn’t work hard enough but still our best option for a long bail out kick. I would replace him long term.
direct quote from one of your earlier posts.

we need another tall  to support him rather than get rid of him..at the moment we have 20 points spare  plus we could improve the list if we move on some players and use the points to recruit wisely.
watts (10 points)
fullgrabe (2 points)
robbo (11 points)
that would give us 43 points providing we still have the 125 points cap like last year.

 schumacher (10 ponts) would keep
angus scott (10 points) maybe keep

That’s fact my friend not a sledge.  If you could find another person that thinks that is inaccurate I would be surprised. The points cap is changing so who knows. Hopefully the clubs have been given some indication.

Watts is currently 5 points, although i believe they are changing the overall points scale.

my mistake.i notice both kitchen and delahunty are now classified as 1 point players.so maybe watts will be less points next year.we must fix up our lack of key defenders.either back in watts and fullgrabbe or use whatever points they are for a upgrade.north and eaton are not the answer they are flankers.also need a key forward and  think we need another mid who can actually take advantage of jones dominance.if we don't recruit properly and i have no confidence we will  we might end up with west coast cast offs who don't solve any of our problem areas.

The best story to come out of the F.B. night was coaches award winner Taylor North. He played on the drafted whizz kid Logan McDonald in last seasons opener, and unfortunately got towelled up and relegated to the seconds for the rest of the season.Taylor then got on the front foot and asked the coach what he needed to do to get back into the league side.Barney was upfront, and told him as far as talent went,he was behind a few in the pecking order, and the only way he could force his way back in the league side was by working twice as hard as everyone else, which he proceeded to do,and Northy is always the first on the track and the last to leave, and once he forced his way in he never looked back.                                                                                           Our fairest and best winner ''Pebbles''Ameduri is another player with a superb work ethic, and he got duly rewarded, and i see him as future leader of the club.,and he never became a regular until this season, and the sooner we get more players of the same mindset and attitude of these 2 players, the sooner we'll win more than we lose, regardless of who we recruit.

Good post Lucky, I have some advice for the both of them. Pebbles the gym work is done, time to maintain that and focus on skill improvement. Northy get in the gym and add strength to become a first choice player.

Speaking about F&B Winners. I see Rocky (Julian Ameduri) has joined Mt Lawley for next year. A good get by them and I hope he goes well. A terrific fellow.
