Well that was a learning experience.

One side played like $602K and the other like a bent penny.

WP really looked the goods with a game plan that seems to based around lots of run and lots of from behind, it was a simple skill errors that caught them out but I would watch out if the get it going against even the better rated teams. 20 something shots at goal was the true reflection not the score.

As for EP mmm seems to me that there is a lot left to do if we are going to be better than 100 to one prediction.

Grump, thanks for your summary of yesterday's practice match which I couldn't attend.
I'm concerned that our lack of recruiting may come back to haunt us in 2021.
However, the club has said they're putting their faith in some of the reserves premiership team plus a few colts making the transition to senior footy.
Were there any non-league players from last year that impressed you?

We were without Robertson(cut leg), Schumaker (foot in a moon boot ??), North (ankle), Ramsay (not sure what but was in rehab running group) and a couple of others but we just were not in it for long enough.

Fullgrabe looked good as did Eaton both down back, Cahill looked good after long break and Daniel Rowe looked like he could fit in but as I said earlier we were all fits and starts, In the middle stan Wright looked like he needed the run and will get better but will take a few more games to be back where we need him.

Thanks, Grump, Schumacher in a moon boot is a bit of a concern.
